About this mod

This plugin modifies the script on all of the cursed items in the game so that when they are picked up, they have a chance of spawning a random Daedra and the ingredient, or dwemer coin, or gold that is picked up is now stackable with the rest of the like items in the game.

1. Installing the Plugin

To install the plugin, unzip the files into the Morrowind/Data Files directory.

2. Playing the Plugin


From the Morrowind Launcher, select Data Files and check the box
next to the Better Cursed Items.esp file. Nothing special needs
to be done to start the plugin.

3. Save Games



This plugin will not invalidate your old saved games. If you save
your game while this plugin is loaded, you may encounter error messages
when you reload the saved game without the plugin. But you will be
able to continue on with the original game.

4. What It Does

This plugin modifies the script on all of the cursed items in the game so that
when they are picked up, they have a chance of spawning a random Daedra and
the ingredient, or dwemer coin, or gold that is picked up is now stackable with
the rest of the like items in the game. (it also modifies the scripts on cursed
gold, which isn't found in the game, or at least which isn't initially placed any
where with the CS)

5. Credits

Thanks to everyone on the ES CS forum that told me 5 different ways to write my script,
for me to find out that I had a little error on my end that was keeping it from doing
what it was supposed to.
Thanks to Neoptolemus for the initial idea of spawning random Daedra, instead of only
a Dremora Lord.

7. Bug Reporting/Known Issues

I'm the only one that bugtested this mod, and I never tested it with the items already
in game, I only tested it in my test cell. But there should be no bugs, but one never
knows such things. If you should happen to find anything, PM me on the official ES
Forums at claudekennilol.
