Description:

The Lord's Mail cuirass is the one of the items (the other being Chrysamere) that the player is sent to find as part of the final Imperial Legion quest. The standard Morrowind version was okay, but it was more of a "okay I've got this so how can I mount it on my wall?" type of armor. Both Daedric and Ebony are better looking (in fact, most of the armor in Morrowind is better looking) and both protect you far better than the Lord's Mail and a full set of Imperial armor can. This mod turns the Lord's Mail into a cuirass worth using (please note that with the changes I've made this armor could be considered a 'cheat' if a lower-level player were to aquire it).
I increased the value of the cuirass by 10k gold, taking it from 190,000 to 200,000. The weight has also been increased, 30 MU (Morrowind Units) to 40 MU. The original enchantment (lord's praise) was a 'cast on self' with "Cure Poison" and "Resist Magic (duration 30)"spells. The new enchantment (lord's praise) is a 'constant effect' with "Resist Common Disease," "Resist Magic," and "Resist Paralysis" all 15-30 percent. I have increased the health of the armor from the original wimpy 3,000 to a more respectible 5,000.

Installation:

Unzip the "Better Lord's Mail" rar into either a neutral location like "My Documents" or directly into
your Morrowind/Data Files folder. Open the Morrowind Launcher, select Data Files, find Better Lord's Mail and check the box next to it. Click Okay, and start Morrowind normally.

Removal:

Open your Morrowind/Data Files folder and delete both the Better Lord's Mail esp file and the BetterLordsMail ReadMe file.
