The chiryu are a winged humanoid race descended of dragons. They are great warriors and masters of stealth despite their size.
They are honorable, but tend to sit outside the affairs of the other races... Until now.
Their wings give them a limited form of flight. Their knowledge of their surroundings gives them a minor ability to sense

The chiryu are a winged humanoid race descended of dragons. They are great warriors and masters of stealth despite their size.
They are honorable, but tend to sit outside the affairs of the other races... Until now.
Their wings give them a limited form of flight. Their knowledge of their surroundings gives them a minor ability to sense danger thus helping them dodge blows more easily. They are masters of the long blade and adept at the mobile arts -- able to move quickly and leap high.
Chiryu have a danger-sense ability that is useful at lower levels if you are unarmored. They have a power called "Flight of Dragons" which does NOT use levitation. Instead it is a powerful "jump" and "slowfall" effect.
I've also added a new class called the Dragon Warrior which blends elements of the Warrior and Thief type classes.
There are a few references to Akavir, but to those who adhere strongly to lore I am not saying that the chiryu are from there, it's just natural for the citizens of Vvardenfell to assume that the chiryu are Akaviri.
THE BIG ADDITION is that of a chiryu companion based on Emma and Grumpy's Beryl. He is quite powerful and has a few powerful items, but this was done purposefully based on his secret
background.
