About this image

I'm honestly surprised how well this turned out. I plastered some of the default textures onto it and it turned out significantly better than expected. All I really have to do left with it is correct some of the wonkiness with the UVs in the center piece. Other than that, the blade is ready and beautiful. If you'd like to use it for any reason whatsoever, feel free to PM me, as I'm not sure if I'll be releasing it officially any time soon :P

I've set it up in the CS with some decent stats and enchantments. You'll have to have some familiarity with the CS to add it in game, however, or you can use the console to add it in :P

I hope you enjoy this. I really appreciate the community here, even if I'm too busy atm to contribute much :3

Do you still have an ESP of this weapon? I'd love to have this.

      Hi jackmun2!

I actually have a much newer and more "accurate" version available, but I haven't really released it. If you'd like, I can see about setting it up in a standalone .esp.

After turning Seyda Neen bloody red and goofing around a bit, I gotta say, I'm impressed with it. I like the design, it's simple and blends well with the game, without looking like it'd been copy/pasted from another game. However, with that being said, my only critique is the texture. But perhaps it's matter of preference, but I miss the semi-gold, fire-veined texture that went along with it. Maybe a subtle particle effect near the jewel would complete it? Either way, impressive work!

I'll admit, from what I've been working on since I started, particles have been way out of my league. I've been dying to try and get them to work, but there's just so much difficulty in doing so that any attempts have left major messes.

If possible, I might attempt to attach particles to the center from a donor mesh, but even that is rather foreign to me. If only the blender plugin supported Morrowind's particle system... >~<

I'm glad you're enjoying it so far, though! I'm currently working on *legitimately* finishing it, which means completing the model, slapping together some beneficial textures, and all-around correcting any issues with it.

Thank you so much for the feedback! It's always appreciated!

WoW! Looks like your best work yet! i would also beta test it but I am knee deep in The Symphony and it looks as if you have two testers willing to help you already.
    Congratulations again!

Thank you very much, Psij. :3

It's not so much "beta testing" as much as it is "can i haz swordz?" x3

If you'd like, I might as well send you the Mediafire link. Stav was kind enough to make some higher-poly adjustments which I've included as well.

Yes! That's why I mostly use vanilla texture paths in my mash-ups. This way preserves game's visual consistence.
And I suggest to remodell central part of this weapon, it's looking kinda messy.
    Otherwise, good work

Thanks for the feedback! I'm definitely enjoying this current version of Dawnbreaker!

As for the middle part, that's the part I've spent most of my time on. I believe that this is as close as I've ever gotten to the original's middle piece, but I guess if you'd like to do it yourself, you can :3 Most of what's messed up is the UVs, which I've since corrected. I'm trying to re-imagine the texture job, though it's been very, very difficult getting the center piece look acceptable with vanilla textures. Part of it has to do with the blasted shape of it XD

      Thanks again, though
