Man we really need to clean up those trees south of Vvardenfell. They are such an eye sore and we've had them for YEARS. Rest assured that region is going to be redone soon enough and those trees won't stay there!

LoL Ya I remember those trees from Emma's mod The White Wolf
Of The Lokken Mountain. I can't remember... oh ya, I deleted the trees and replaced them with some of Vurt's models. There was a time that they were the best trees available

I visited Thirr the other day and that whole area was amazing. Ya it is easy to make fun of the trees but you guys over at TR are doing amazing stuff. My Morrowind play these days consists of taking a boat ride to some unknown TR city and explore my way back to the Island

That's awesome! And yeah, those trees are so old, I didn't remember where they came from though. This is a good reminder though so I think we'll see if we can't get that replaced with much better models, maybe even for the next release! Err...we'll see though! :p

Also, If you like exploring, I hope you're ready to see southern Morrowind Dres lands! We're actually finishing up our asset kit for that region; it's going to be 100% entirely new and completely different from other regions. New flora, ground textures, architecture etc. Really hope you'll enjoy it

I'm a new member over at your forums (dif nic tho) so after I write my guide I'll see about those trees. That is a tall project. Have you ever looked at Mallorn Trees in Morrowind by Melchior Dahrk?
      http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43221/?

For some reason I have always like these trees... maybe because they are so different. I am going to drop them in my game the next time I'm in the Grazelands. Actually, I'm going to do that now before I forget.

Oh it's Melchior! I've never seen these trees before now, but they do seem to be a suitable replacement. I'll have to ask Melchior if we can use them next time I see him. I would like to hopefully have them replaced before our next release, but we'll see on how that goes. Either way, thanks for the link and the suggestion

Also, thanks for registering to our forums. You should make yourself known there; we'd love to hear more of what you have to say! Oh and feel free to join our irc live chat whenever you like! I'd love the chance to talk with you although just keep in mind that sometimes the chat can be dead, but it picks up at certain times every day

Sure thing, I'll drop by soon.
Mallorn Trees in Morrowind by Melchior Dahrk
      From the description:
"...The top level of the folder contains MESHES and TEXTURES folders which can be used as a resource to use in your own project however you like..."

I'll see how they look in game...

Well that's greatly appreciated but don't push yourself too hard and don't worry about it too much. I'm serious about asking some of the other Lead Devs if we can't push for this upcoming release just to finally get rid of the old ones that have been there for so long.

That being said, while it would be greatly appreciated to see some screens of those in our content, I'm not sure if everyone else would want them there or some other tree (it's not up to me,) and I'd feel horrible if you went and put in all that effort and then the decision ends up being that it's not something we'll end up using.

So yeah...it would be really nice to see what those trees would look like with our content, but please don't feel forced/obligated to do so.

      Stand by

I have the trees around Firewatch and I'm uploading a video. You'll like it. These trees are very tall so they give a very scenic and wild visual effect.

I'll try to work my way south again and see about replacing those old trees in my game. I think these trees look amazing there. That's the beauty about modding

Now you've got my other half all excited again about Morrowind. To him, nothing surpasses Morrowind as far as the Elder Scrolls games go. So I showed him all your pics and vids and he's all hyped up to play it again, once I tune it up for him. Thanks for sharing these awesome pics and vids with us, Psi.

Oh wow that is so KooL to hear. But ya, Morrowind is the best TES by far. I would tell you to wait for my new "Beautiful Morrowind Play Guide" but that is going to take a little time to write. I mean, I have to play too

Waiting patiently for the guide, it will be nice to have a starting point when I decide to take a vacation from Skyrim.

There is something disturbingly wrong in this image....

It almost looks like you can fit two persons next to each other in those long halls
I seem to remember them being much tighter

HA! You of course are correct but this is taken from a city in Tamriel Rebuilt and also there is a little indentation near the door that kinda play tricks with the perception.

I have added one more shader to this new list that makes things much sharper.

I will be adding those pics right after this post.
