That Dwemer bridge to nowhere is one of my fave spots in the game (If its the one up north and not added somewhere else by a mod, but that looks like Khuul to me)

No not Khuul, it is from Tamriel Rebuilt Sacred East just outside of a Telvanni city I forget the name of but yes I know the one you are referring to. I am not playing the main quest but the Morag Tong questline and while I legally get to murder people I am also exploring the incredibly detailed mainland around Vvanderfell.

Morrowind is like being on another planet, it is completely alien and bizarre. It is pure fantasy. I do not understand why the TES games since have moved away from this type of atmosphere but apparently there are many things I don't understand

If you can read and play in English then I recommend the English version of Morrowind in Disk form "NoT" from Steam. If you want to play in Italian then first try to find an Italian Morrowind Guide. I will PM you two guides that I have used (one by knotts and the other by kate the bionic uterus) and they cover everything from A-Z

But in fact Oblivion was a real disaster. The tragedy was that Oblivion is designed as a game for consoles, with a drastic reduction in the depth of history, and with a very traditional setting, designed to appeal to an audience of very scarce intellectual gifts. In practice it has changed the target. No coincidence that the author of much of the lore has left Bethesda right after oblivion. Skyrim has instead been the attempt of return to Morrowind, and I think that next Argonia, still try more this road. Unfortunately, the lore becomes increasingly superficial and now you can gicora the entire game without understanding anything.
I already own the Goty version on CD.

I have this link bookmarked: http://www.imperial-library.info/content/shor-son-shor-full
The writer for Morrowind books was Michael Kirkbride and he left before Oblivion.

The only good thing about Oblivion was the Shivering Isles. Once I walked in I never left. It is the same for Skyrim, once I found Solthsteim I never went back to Skyrim.

Argonia sounds great. I hope they go there. I have always liked the beast races. Have you ever seen this video? It is like a 20 minute movie.
