Although I haven't figured out how to recreate the blue water
    ... yet ><

...What do you think about these settings? It needs to be viewed in it's own window

Looks really good, Psi! I also saw the video where you get to see it in action. That sound for magic you had caught me off guard, I'm so used to vanilla

The water doesn't look out of place for a sky like that, In the CK for Skyrim about 70% of the water color comes the lower parts of the sky, so the watercolor is very much a reflection of that with a few other modifiers added in.

I don't think it work differently in Morrowind, since both are running on Gamebryo engine. But I never messed with the lighting in Morrowind, my modding was basically me building a playerhome between the Vivec stilt-strinder and the main bridge into the city

Ya the sound I'm not such a fan of that particular spell sound but there are others I like. I will be replacing certain aspects of that mod with another.

To be honest I am not sure what settings I had going in the video... I keep changing so often that I really need to start keeping notes.

The water colour is an interesting thing to ponder since MGE is a "post processing" utility. The original MGE made the water look metallic but yes it does seem it is a reflection of the sky. I am sure there are others here who know more about it and who can chime in to help clear the matter a bit.

I have a mod for Morrowind too, it was a cave home I made for Umbra the Orc but I just couldn't get Umbra inside... That may be deleted now. I deleted all my old files when I transferred everything from my old external HD to my laptop and then I deleted more stuff when I moved copied everything to my new 5TB external HD. It was dumb of me, I lost all my old character saves too

Are you only messing with .ini settings for the shaders? Perhaps you could copy the .ini edits to another text file, write up a few brief notes about it (your likes, dislikes, what you should change next time) and then you could post these up here on the Nexus (or another location) for others to use, too!

Just making noise, here. Good job, though! Beautiful pic as always

No they are two separate things. The shaders for mgeXE are written in code in a .fx effect format for directX 9. I can make changes to it but in what I am talking about is changes to the Morrowind ini itself. That is easy for me to organize, what is confusing is the list of active shaders and the order I put them in. Truth is I am way too lazy to take all this too seriously. I know I should but I'm an organized mess

Here are the base ini changes by starwarsguy for you to try and play around with. Remeber to make a backup copy of your current Morrowinf ini just in case you don't like the effects.

Psi, the names in the spoiler are the same the CK uses for weathers, only the sky color isn't separated into Upper and Lower Sky colors.

Check to see if a slight tweak to these could give you what you want:

      Sky Sunrise Color=117,141,164
      Sky Day Color=130,150,255
      Sky Sunset Color=056,089,129
      Sky Night Color=000,000,000

I'm sure you know but I'm being overly obvious here, but those are just RBG values so the first one is red, then blue and then green.

Sky Night is set to full black :V

See if setting it to 010 x 3 would give you the same kind of darkness, but a bit more detail in the sky.

Oh really?.. I must have made a mistake then and posted the wrong ini changes... give me a little while to double check that.

Oh and I'll play with your suggestions as well

      Cheers

Yes the colours are really soft and fluffy. I am happy with this mix of shaders.
