About this image

It would seem that I finally managed to make Morrowind work properly. Despite the framerate being capped to 30, the game still feels rather smooth. Perhaps it is just because of capping the framerate, so that when I reach a larger town or city, the drop to 20 does not feel as great as it would if I played at 60 fps (if I were able to play at 60 fps). And with all the retextures and mesh improvements, the game looks much better than it originally did. Distant lands feature of MGE XE still needs some configuration, as well as my mod collection. It is incredibly difficult to find an up-to-date grass mod for Morrowind Rebirth. The grass on the other side of Tel Vos, where a small town or such is situated, is floating in the air. So I had to take the screenshot from this side. Of course, the sunschafts (or godrays, whatever they are called) do not look bad, either.

I originally tried using MGSO 3 to improve the graphics, but it was not really working the way I wanted it to. And installing a predefined selection of mods did not feel right. Adding something to the predefined selection might cause issues. And MGSO 3 was not completely bug-free, either. So I am now collecting my own mod collection to enhance Morrowind. And graphics mods will probably be limited to mostly replacers. I can live without glowing windows, too.

Hey, a screenshot of my Tel Vos mod!

In regards to grass for Morrowind Rebirth, I don't use that mod myself, but I would suggest asking in the author's thread on the Official Forums: http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1507363-relz-morrowind-rebirth-28/

It is indeed your mod. And thank you for it. Now Tel Vos actually looks like it is some sort of a centre of the Grazelands.

I think I will ask the author. Perhaps it could also be done here at the Nexus. But I will see where I could ask about it. It is not a bad mod (Morrowind Rebirth), although it does add quite a lot of objects and/or NPCs in some places, which causes my FPS to sink. But I think it is worth it. Vvardenfell looks a little less 'empty' now. Having 'grass support' from the author would remove all issues with it. Grass just makes the plains look a bit better. But it is a matter of taste. Or something like it.

I also have some other mods from you. Thank you for all of them, although I have yet to experience the battle with enhanced Umbra. Not that my mage character(s) would be too interested in it too early without proper spells and such...

I thought Rebirth came with its own grass.

It does? Oh my... If it really does, it solves all my problems. I did not find a grass plugin when I installed it. Perhaps it could be included in the main files? Anyway, I will check it. Thank you. :)

Don't hold my word for it, I don't use Rebirth.

I remember someone mentioning something about it a while back, thats all, or may be the grass plugin was a seperate download.

Hmm... I had to download the grass separately. Perhaps it is so. But I will see. Thank you anyway. :)
