Hey there, Michael. And thanks! Considering just how old it is, it still has an active modding community. I had it reinstalled, modded and ready to play, then the HD crash last May killed everything. Need to get it back in again along with Oblivion, just haven't gotten around to it again. Awesome storyline, too.

This collection is terrrrrriffic!! Just gorgeous. I like all of them, but I especially like the 6th with the light house. ( Perhaps I should really go and try to "out-mod" the original Morrowind!

Thanks, Tesa. Adding mods to Morrowind is worthwhile, especially with some of the more recent ones I've come across. I was like when I went in after adding MGE XE.

    Da prey...approaches..

Nice to see you here! Are you using MGSO? If so there was a guide uploaded here but my advice is to stay away from that. It is full of incomplete advice and it will ruin your game. I have a installation guide I made for my friends. PM me if you want to take a peek

You could notify the author of that guide to improve it

No, all the information has been written by other people and can be found on the official MGSO 3.0 thread over at bethesda forums.
      http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1513057-relz-morrowind-overhaul-sounds-graphics-30-thread-6/page-4

It was such a poor guide that originally it didn't even include how to update mgeXE??? It was really ridiculous. It still is missing the most important updates and patches and it doesn't explain how you have to re-apply certain updates every time you change something in MGSO 3.0.

Misinformation and posing yourself as an expert by releasing an information mod so to as help people when the author themselves haven't a clue in what they are talking about... f%^&! It should be removed from this sight because it is actually misinformation. If people follow it then their installation would be ruined!

The author of that piece of garbage should just count themselves as lucky that I haven't ripped into it already but I am not here to save the world. However I like FastBlackCat and I just want to make sure she keeps clear of that nonsense.

All anyone need to do if follow this thread by the author of MGSO and follow the instructions on how to update everything. Don't listen to anyone else. The members that will help you on that thread like WH-Reaper, Dragon32, starwarsgal9875 and YOU! You are there and you should be making sure people get the correct help and not encourage misinformation found at spoof websites.

There is nothing worse that spending 24 hrs over a weekend trying to get your game working properly and finding out that the instructions you are following are (BS) incorrect.

This is a major pet peeve of mine.

It is obvious that this person was a first timer and they had no right to pretend that they knew what they were doing when anyone who has any knowledge of the subject could tell that it was nonsense.

Anyhoos... MGSO 4.0 is coming soon so hopefully that written pile of crap will be quickly forgotten. I feel sorry for all the people that have followed that guide and have even posted that their game continues to crash and certain features don't work. The sad part is that it is ALL CORRECTABLE if the author gave the proper information.

There is nothing I hate more in this life than posers. People who pretend to be something they are not because although they have think they are helping people and fooling people what ends up happening is that people get hurt. But the POSER doesn't care They are fooling themselves and living off of innocent people who mistakenly took their advice.

      DIE POSERS DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Ahem... Sry... I'm better now

Hello, Psi! *waves paws in wild hello* Now tell us how ya really feel . . . just kidding, I found what you said pretty informative. And I am lurking here--well, for a little while anyways. Morrowind was my first and bestest love of all the games I've played, and it's actually really good to see it again, especially with all the improvements these wonderful modders have given us. And I would love to take a peek at your guide.

I'll pm you and if you run into any problems or have questions don't hesitate to ask. But for someone like you, the official forum thread is the way to go. First off the people there are fun. Second they ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT! Ahem... sry... I seem to be yelling again. I used to be a member at every other bethseda game forum and for Morrowind the bast place is the official forums. They keep out the riff raff but all the good stuff by the mod authors that continue to work on this game, well they all hang out over there.

My guide itself is mainly just links and I'll have to update a couple of them. I'll do that right away for you. I also cover the must have texture replacers (besides of what mgso gives you) and my fave mods. It is pretty complete.

There is some stuff that is missing, mainly stuff for modders that I plan on updating but I'll make sure to keep you in the loop.

      Cheers

You can hide the HUD with MGE XE, in the "ingame" tab, chose allow screenshots, Then when you'll take screenshot, MGE XE should automatically hide the HUD.
    Very nice screenshots !

Among other things, yes. ...and for the record, the HUD in these shots isn't all that intrusive.
