    Nice comparison, the community has done some very good job ! But I personnaly think the trees in Balmora haven't their place there, (just my opinion) Like the name of the town, Stone forest, I think a more rocky place would be very beautiful !

      Well it does make sense that over the decades that people lived there that they eventually brought and grew trees. There are plenty examples of this in earth's history so I don't really think it is a big stretch to believe that trees could be growing there. (imo)

      The west gash are supposed to be a bit arid, If the bitter coast is just next to Balmora it's because the Island is small so they weren't able to do some proper transition between regions. And there is only a few trees in Vvardenfell, most of them are in the Bitter coast so if There were trees in balmora, they would probably cut them for use !
      But that's just my thought
