There is a mod that will stick the weapon on the side or on your back like in Oblivion and skyrim. I used it way back but the thing is it is not compatible with other armor mods and will only place the vanilla copy of the weapon on your side or back. If you use any texture replacers then it really defeats the purpose. That is why I don't use it anymore. It started messing with my immersion.
If you want the name of the mod I can find it for you but you will have to wait until I get home and that will be on Tuesday.
Nice shot, then! My problem would be the same, I'd never play without retextures/replacers for weapons anymore, especially when it comes to daedric weapons or hopesfire/trueflame, but thanks for your response!
