The Mount and Blade Warband: ProMod attempts to address some of the perceived imbalances in the current state of Warband's native module. While you will not notice signficant changes to the gameplay (thats the point!) below are some of the changes that we believe will lead to a larger variety of team compositions and faction choices:
- All Throwing Weapon Stack Sizes reduced by 1 - Archery rate of fire decrease for all bows - Very slight reduction in Crossbow Rate of Fire - Reduction of movement speed for Nord and Vaegir Archers - Swadian Infantry now have access to the Spear at 85 gold - Swadian Infantry now have enough power throw to pick up normal throwing axes
While the list of changes is not long, it has been decided to make as few changes as possible in order to keep the gameplay true to the native module and Armagan's vision for Warband's multiplayer component. It should also be noted that none of these changes are set in stone. It is to the advantage of the community to thoroughly test and suggest changes to ProMod for future consideration. If a change upsets the metagame by an unforeseen degree or does not have the intended effect, expect it to be reconsidered or repealed.
