Home page for all my mods. Includes mods for increasing player base stats, increasing Ryder and Squadmate power stats and skill tree progression, increasing XP, increasing skill points per level, etc. Also includes various gameplay changes like biotic blink evades for all profiles, more inventory, etc.

INTRODUCTION

Main page for all of my mod files. Combined from all my previous pages for ease of use. Just some experiments with various gameplay changes.

All mods working as of Patch 1.09. Should all be compatible with each other unless you are using some of the optional files or multiple versions of the same file. I've added a line by each optional file to cover any compatibility issues.

Some mods may make game too easy if you already felt it was lacking challenge. Mods also may affect multi-player, and should be removed before playing online competitively.


INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Use Frosty Mod Manager. Only the .fbmod and .archive files are required. Move these two files to the Mods folder for Frosty Mod Manager.

The .fbproject files are included for those who wish to play around with the mods in Frosty Editor.


The .txt files, if included, reiterate changes explained below.



AVAILABLE MODS

  • Increased Player Stats - Increases player base stats and nomad shields and removes environmental hazards.
  • Power Stats Overhaul - Various increases to the player character's and squadmate's base power stats and skill tree progression values.
  • Skill Point Modifier - Increases gained skill points to allow for maxed skill trees by level 50.
  • No Locked Skill Trees - Removes the minimum skill point requirement for various locked skill trees.
  • Biotic Blink Evades for All Profiles - Adds the biotic blink evade from the Explorer profile to all profiles.
  • Biotic Echo Combo Detonations - Changes all biotic combo detonations to use the biotic echoes effect from the Adept profile, regardless of profile.
  • Quadruple Inventory - Quadruples available inventory.
  • Double Experience Points - Doubles earned experience.


DETAILED MOD DESCRIPTIONS

Increased Player Stats

Various increases to the player character's base stats. Increases Nomad Shields and Integrity. Removes Environmental hazards while on foot.

Stat: Unmodded Value > Modded Value

  • Health: 500 > 700
  • Health Regen Rate: 10 > 25
  • Health Regen Delay: 8s > 5s
  • Max Regen Health %: 25% > 50%
  • Max Shields: 250 > 450
  • Shield Regen Delay: 8s > 5s
  • Hover Duration: 2.5s > 7.5s
  • Jump Melee Damage: 275 > 400
  • Jump Melee Force: 400 > 600
  • Jump Melee Radius: 2.2m > 5m
  • Shield Evade Cost: .075 > .025
  • Weight Capacity: .3 > .5
  • Nomad Shields: 1,000 > 10,000
  • Nomad Integrity: 1,000 > 10,000

OPTIONAL
:

Three optional files that split player base stats, Nomad shields, and no environmental hazards into their own mods. These are not compatible with each other as stand-alones as they alter the same file. Choose either one optional file or the main file.


Power Stats Overhaul

Various increases to the player character's and squadmate's base power stats and skill tree progression values. Would like to extend a big thank you to user NeoSeether for your continued help with identifying bugs and troubleshooting.

Please see images for full list of edits. Images look small, but if you zoom in on mobile, or right click and hit "View Image" on PC, the images should enlarge enough that you can see all the different changes. I've been using this general pattern when editing stats, but there are exceptions:

  • Damage bonuses increased by 10%.
  • Non-damage bonuses (Cooldown, Radius, etc.) increased by 15%.
  • Numerical stats and some base stats were reduced / increased arbitrarily.
  • Each squadmate has had their passives increased differently to accentuate their strengths (Cora has highest increase to powers, Drack to health, etc.).

You can see changes from previous versions by clicking the Changes tab.

Please note that skill tree descriptions that are in blue text do not change in-game when viewing the skill trees. There are also some green text descriptions which do not change. There is currently no way to fix this.


OPTIONAL:

There is a stand-alone file for Ryder and one for the squadmates. Please note that in the images, any cell that is in Blue will be changed regardless of what file you choose based on how certain stat values are stored in the game. The optional files are not compatible with each other. Use the main file if you want the effects of both.


Skill Point Modifier

Increases gained skill points to allow for maxed skill trees by level 50. Designed to allow for a more varied mix of gameplay early-on. Will retroactively add points based on your current level. If uninstalled, the additional skill points will be removed from the skill trees seemingly at random. There is another mod called More Skill Points Per Level by alineinabook that offers a variety of other skill point breakdowns.

Level: Unmodded > Modded

  • Base: 1 > 1
  • Levels 2-3: 3 > 36
  • Levels 4-10: 4 > 26
  • Levels 11-25: 5 > 20
  • Levels 26+: 6 > 8

Stops skill point acquisition at level 50.


OPTIONAL:

Skill point adjustments allowing for maxing out at level 132. Use either the optional file or the main file, not both.

Level: Unmodded > Modded

  • Base: 1 > 1
  • Levels 2-3: 3 > 35
  • Levels 4-10: 4 > 31
  • Levels 11-25: 5 > 24
  • Levels 26+: 6 > 1


No Locked Skill Trees

Removes the minimum skill point requirement for various locked skill trees. All powers will be available from the start without the need for additional skill point investment for Ryder and Squadmates. Rank 6 Squadmate Loyalty powers and the Remnant VI tech power are unaffected.


OPTIONAL:

File that only removes skill point requirements for Ryder.
File that only removes skill point requirements for Squadmates. Optional files are compatible with each other if for some reason you'd rather use both instead of the combined main file. Use either the optional files or the main file, not both.


Biotic Blink Evades for All Profiles

Adds the biotic blink evade from the Explorer profile to all profiles. Download includes a folder for each individual profile. They are compatible with each other so feel free to mix and match. If you evade too quickly after a profile switch, it may not register the Biotic Blink evade. To fix, switch to a new profile, switch back, and wait for the glowing icon on your shoulder to fade before performing an evade.

OPTIONAL:

All-in-one adding the evade effect to all profiles. Use either the optional files or the main file, not both.


Biotic Echo Combo Detonations

Adds the biotic echo combo detonation from the Adept profile to all biotic combo detonations, regardless of profile.


Quadruple Inventory

Quadruples inventory space. Affects the base value as well as each upgrade available through the Nexus AVP panel.

Stat: Unmodded Value > Modded Value

  • Base Inventory: 100 > 400
  • Upgrade 1: 150 > 600
  • Upgrade 2: 200 > 800


Double Experience Points

Doubles earned experience. Changes forward station experience from 0 to 100. Changes experience required for first level up from 1,017 to 1.



MISC FILES

Adept Biotic Blink and Combat Drone

Simple experiment that adds the biotic blink evade from the Explorer profile and the Combat Drone from the Engineer profile to the Adept profile. Removes the biotic echoes effect. Recommend to use with the Biotic Echo Combo Detonations mod above.
