LORD OF THE RINGS: BATTLE FOR MIDDLE EARTH 2
HOT FILES
Gondolin
"The ancient Elven city of Gondolin in Beleriand which was destroyed by Morgoth's forces. Gothmog, the Lord of the Balrogs, was slain in this battle by Turgon." -Matthew Luckow (Creator)

This map is one of the best Gondolins on the web, there are some pretty awful one out ther but this has got to be the best. Decent textures.

Sorry but there isn't a huge row of underground gates to get to the city area but there are several balrog hopping around for your entertainment (not literally hopping).
Unified Factions (v11.0)
Greetings, this is a mod that stems from my previous release, the DesertFoxMod_Beta.03 ( which can be found at: http://lordoftherings.filefront.com/file/Desert_Fox_Mod_Beta;69161 )

This mod is identical to the DesertFox mod in nearly every aspect, except for one BIG change. All factions on the same side (Good or Evil) are now

unified. For example: if you play as any evil faction, you can recruit builders from ALL the evil factions, which gives you access to every evil races abilities

(except for Hero's, the faction you start with are the Hero's you are also stuck with). Ring power points are still original to their faction (this will be changed in

future releases). This mod requires the V1.04 patch in order to run properly.

In order to recruit builders from other factions, all you need to do is build an Armory (research building), and raise it up to level 3. At which point you will

be given the option to recruit builders from other allied factions(sorry evil players...the icon for all evil builders is the same, you'll just have to guess for

the time being...I'll be fixing this inconvenience soon).

Sometimes it's fun to have something different. Why choose only 1 faction when you can play as the entire good or evil side? If you would

like something new, or perhaps just want a challenge, give it a shot! You might be suprised ; )

Before you download this mod please read the readme, yes all of it, as this has a different installation to all other mods!

Battle For Moria
"Moria has been the setting for many battles, now it's your turn to fight for these legendary mines. Prepare for combat underground in narrow tunnels, vast halls, and over deep chasms, the Battle for Moria has begun! The tight tunnels make it difficult to see your units so you will need to keep rotating the camera."- Badwell (creator).

This map has good building room, the passages are not as tight as descripted but are still in the need of camera rotation. The details are O.K. this could actually be part of moria for you purists out there because moria was so massive, so don't shun it.
Brandybuck Manor
This is a 4 player map for Bfme2. It takes place in the shire by a manor, which is protected by rangers and hobbits. There are quite some creeps and some inns and outposts. There is no gollum but ai works and can be played both singleplayer and multiplayer

have fun

    We're Hiring: Web Developer Positions

    posted by Dark0ne Feature
We're happy to report that both positions listed in this article have now been filled. As such, please don't send us your CV unless you are interested in us keeping it on record for when we are next looking to hire.

We’re looking for two mid-level to senior web developers to join our team at our new office in Exeter, UK. The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled with experience working on high traffic websites.

    The Role

You’d be joining our established web team which currently consists of 3 programmers whose primary responsibility is the Nexus Mods website and everything around it. Our stack ...(continue reading the full article)

Blog Piece: We're getting an office, and we're hiring

    posted by Dark0ne Feature
Hello! long time, no...boring you with my long blog pieces.

We're about to post up a news article about us looking to hire two new web programmers. Unlike our previous hire-calls, however, this one is different because it comes with the caveat that the job is based in Exeter, in the south west of England. Why? Because we're setting up an office. Our first office.

Revealing such news comes as bitter-sweet to me. For the past 15 years Nexus Mods (and the names it previously operated under) has been run from bedrooms, dorm rooms, campus computer rooms and home offices. It's been a success story up ...(continue reading the full article)

    Staff Picks - 22 Mar 2017

This week we're back with some more staff and community picks. I am really pleased to see a submission for a game other than those from the Bethesda series with Minqmay picking one from Legend of Grimrock. SirSalami has this week turned his attention towards a really nice armour mod, Terrorfox1234 has chosen one to help with your sometimes incredibly stupid companions and I have gone back to my childhood and chosen a mod to put posters on the walls.

We love to hear the communities picks so keep them coming by using this new and handy form.

    The Sunday Discussion - Robbie922004

    posted by BlindJudge Interviews
This week I got to chat with Robbie922004, a mod author who primarily creates mods for Skyrim, though has been known to tinker in Fallout 4. Robbie started his Steam game collection even before owning a gaming PC and began creating mods, like many, to fix things that he discovered weren't quite up to his taste in the vanilla game.

Hey Robbie and welcome to the Sunday discussion, would you mind letting our community know a little bit about you?

Thanks very much for having me. Unsurprisingly, my name is Robbie. I’m 24 years old, and I’m from Maryland in the United States, on the East Coast for ...(continue reading the full article)

    Butcher Giveaway!

    posted by TerrorFox1234 Feature
    Greetings everyone,

I come bearing gifts! Some of you may remember the Witanlore: Dreamtime Giveaway we ran back at the end of January. Well I’m back at it again with keys for the game Butcher, by Transhuman Design!

THD is a great group of developers and have been kind enough to grant us 10 keys to hand out. As the developers themselves describe the game:

    QUOTE
BUTCHER is a fast-paced 2D shooter and a blood-soaked love letter to the cult classics of the genre. If kicking corpses into a lava pit and adorning walls with blood is your idea of a good time, BUTCHER is THE game for you.
