LEFT 4 DEAD
HOT FILES
Sexy Zoey
A Zoey reskin.

Consists of a new blue Playboy jacket, more flesh and blonde hair. The cleavage shown doesn't look very realistic (to me anyway) from any angle but the front though.

While not particuarly my cup of tea, it is well done.

Surrounded by the dead (Versus)
My second (probably last) campaign, which is containing 3 maps.

2) The car showroom

3) The boat escape

Survivors must went through the city to reach the docks. I hope you'll like the campaign! Have a nice play! =)

Campaign & Versus modes!
Death Stop (2.42)

A shortish 4 map Co-Op campaign..

Get to the Truck Stop!!

Update comming soon, I know of the Nav issues and the 'to many Items' some people are having... plus a few other things..

~ Draxonfly

While this may only be 4 maps, it still felt pretty long to me!

The maps are very well built, good use of props and with a richly detailed environment. The custom graffiti was a nice addition.

On the other hand though, the excessive placement of items and sheer size of the finale map really reduced the intensity and frantic nature of the game.

Still, its a good map overall. Worth downloading.

End of Humanity beta 3.0 (beta 3)
Beta version 3.0 of the campaign/versus End of Humanity, (formerly Running Away). This beta contains the first 5 maps of 7 in the campaign.

Starting in an apartment block, head through some offices to the street. Go through some warehouses and a supermarket before reaching the mall. Fight you way through a bus station and get into the sewers. Make you way through a factory to get outside of the city. Try to survive as you go through a wooded rural area before coming across a laboratory facility. Escape from here and make your way to a well defended saferoom to end the beta.

Night Terror (3.0)

For the relatively average download size of this, you sure get a heck of a lot! This map is packed full of custom sounds and textures (including many grafittis).

This campaign consists of 5 completely unrelated maps, all of which I believe are taken from films. The build quality on them is good. I found disjointed nature of the maps quite confusing at first, but it's not too bad once you know they're not supposed to be linear!

Blockade

Based on the ending of "28 Days Later", you start at a road block and head through some woods to the house the soldiers have fortified. The only things missing are a chained up zombie out the back, and some trip mines on the front lawn! The inside of the house is a bit of a maze, but still quite linear.

Haunted Mansion

No idea what this is from, but it's brilliant! It's supposed to be one of those corny house of horror type things, but now with some zombies as well as 2D ghosts!

Moria

As you can probably guess, this is a recreation of the Mines of Moria from Lord of the Rings. This map is pretty faithful to whats seen in the movie. From Balin's Tomb, through to a huuge chamber, down the stairs ("Nobody tosses a Dwarf!!") and across the bridge! This has to be my favourite of the levels. One important note, when setting off the panic event in Balin's tomb, you need to hold down the use key for quite a long time. An audio clip plays and then the bucket falls down the well, at which point you can stop pressing use and get killin'!

Jungle Ruins

A particuarly well built map, but I found it quite repetitive.

Wake

This has quite an odd finale. The setting is pretty standard, but when the second tanks been disposed of, a doorway opens to a passage ending in a weird room. Took me a few minutes to work out that you had to be right down the very end to finish it off.

All in all, a fun map. Worth a look.

    The Great Thumbnail Rebuild

    posted by MrMason Site News
We have been gearing up for some time to get ready to rebuild the thumbnails for over 2.5 million images that you’ve all uploaded over the years so that they are a much higher quality for the new website design that we've been working on.

We kicked off this rebuilding process at the start of last week, and it is now complete. The higher quality thumbnails may take some time to filter down through our various CDN providers as they are heavily cached.

Some of you may have noticed over the last few weeks a few subtle changes that we've made to the way thumbnail images are displayed on the websit ...(continue reading the full article)

This week we have some cracking picks for you all to take a look at. SirSalami has found an incredible dodge mod for Skyrim that not only adds an ability for you to dodge attacks, but also your enemies. I have a Star Wars based mod from nubyplay that I have had great fun checking out (frazzling enemies with lightning or sending them skyward never seems to get old), Terrorfox1234 has multicolored torches with a variety of uses, and Robbie922004 has come through again yet with a great pick and write up for 'Revenge of the Sleeves' for XCOM: Enemy Unknown.

We have a name! And a Q&A session with Tannin regarding the new mod mana...

    posted by Dark0ne Site News
It's been awhile since we mentioned our work on the new mod manager. For a quick recap of "recent" events, back in August 2016 we brought on Tannin (of Mod Organizer fame) to head up work on a completely new mod manager for Nexus Mods. He's been working on it along with the two original NMM programmers ever since.

Tannin's remit is simple on the surface, we want a mod manager for Nexus Mods that can handle modding for as many games as possible and that can be both simple for newcomers to use while containing (or supporting) all the advanced functionality users have come to expect from mod manag ...(continue reading the full article)

    Staff Picks - 03 May 2017

    posted by BlindJudge Feature
This week they are all picks from within our Bethesda games. Terrorfox couldn't decide on just one mod, so has actually chosen 4 from the same author, all of which add additional beasties or variants of into your Skyrim game. I have chosen a mod that I think really adds a bit of variety to an otherwise annoying (but necessary) part of gaming - fast travel. SirSalami has also addressed one of his gaming pet-peeves of only being able to save a game from retiring to a bed by looking at a mod that allows far more diversity in save locations. Finally, our community member iMACobra has selected a mo ...(continue reading the full article)
