Sid Meier's Galactic Civilization III Mod is designed to create a more immersive experience for the player. The mod includes a number of system and visual tweeks including:

• For the Benevolent Ideology bonus I replaced the 2nd and 5th outreach bonuses that provided additional habitable planets in the home system. To me it didn’t make sense for new habitable planets to be discovered in the Sol system so it wouldn't make sense in the other home systems either. The 2nd outreach bonus has been replaced by repeating the 1st bonus and the 5th bonus has been replaced by repeating the 4th bonus.

• In addition to including Hereward’s Spiral Galaxy templates I’ve included a 4th barred spiral galaxy template based on the Milky Way.

• I've renamed the Terran Resistance the Centauri Union and have placed their homeworld around Alpha Centauri B, bty, their homeworld is named Chiron. Additionally, since the Centauri Union is settler offshoot of the Terrans they start off with a population two.

There is a readme file in the mod that provides instructions on installing the mod, but I’ve also included the instructions below.

To install, download the 'Sid Meiers GalCiv III.zip' file and place this file at the following location:

C:\Users\[Your User Drive]\Documents\My Games\GC3Crusade\Mods

Included in the zip file is a folder entitled:

_Move to GC3Crusade User Folder

This includes a subfolders: CustomMaps

The maps are to be placed into the following folder:
C:\Users\[Your User Drive]\Documents\My Games\GC3Crusade\CustomMaps

The art work is to be placed into the following folders:
C:\Users\[Your User Drive]\Documents\My Games\GC3Crusade\Factions\LeaderBGs
C:\Users\[Your User Drive]\Documents\My Games\GC3Crusade\Factions\LeaderFGs
C:\Users\[Your User Drive]\Documents\My Games\GC3Crusade\Factions\Logos

After that you should be good to go.
