About this video
This song has bothered -- no haunted me -- for over 50 years. What was Sally's secret, what did the roses have to do with it? I've read several interpretations that include Sally having a drug problem, she was pregnant, she killed her lover, killed her rival, her secret was that she was a lesbian and a few more. Anyway, in addition to that there were as many as 10 people doing vocals and a number of musicians popped in to play for the recording. The Jaynetts were Yvonne Bushnell, Ethel Davis , Ada Ray Kelly, Johnnie Louise Richardson and Mary Sue Wells. This was their only song. They were assembled in the studio as a group just to record Sally for Abner Spector.
Anyway this is my interpretation of what Sally did.

Interesting story about Sting.
Each time I think about your new work "Now hey, that's the limit of how good things can look an be pictured in FO4" you do your next work, which is even more beautiful *O*
I would vote that she killed her rival. Or planning to do that.
Edit: Odd, I tried to make this a "sticky". I couldn't. Error - Only authors or staff can stick or un-stick comments.
