Ransacked Relays and Shuddersome Subways is one of, if not the first true Quest mod released for FO4, still before the GECK is released.

Separated in to two, short, individual quests, the mod will have the player explore two fairly small dungeons, finding some snippets of story before an encounter with a massive Boss.
The vast majority of the gameplay in this mod will be "fighting" the bosses.

I put "fighting" in quotes because in a refreshingly creative twist, these bosses aren't fought by blowing them away with your obscenely overpowered weapon and/or army of Companions. (Theoretically one of them could be felled this way, but you'd have to be incredibly stubborn to do so.)

Instead, the bosses are presented as more of an obstacle rather than a direct confrontation. Instead of having a massive bullet vacuum to dump a small nation's worth of ammunition into, the player must use some critical thinking and agility to avoid the boss and find something in the Environment to destroy them. Needless to say, this contextual method of defeating these bosses makes them far more memorable than the Unholy Bullet Sponges I've encountered throughout various other mods, and the Vanilla Game for that matter.

The Quest isn't incredibly polished or very long but that isn't to say it isn't an excellent little sidequest that I'd heartily recommend for your game.

If nothing else, RRS&SS sets an exceptional precedent for Fallout 4 modding going forward.
