Finch's Farm turned into a 'Fort'. Easily defensible. Only a couple of mods required. No DLC required. Now updated with Transfer Settlements V1.48.

Fort Finch
Tired of using so much of your settlement budget building a defensible perimeter? I did. So now I use my settlements as my perimeter. I know of the mod to expand the settlement budget, but I saw it as a challenge to make all of my 'Forts' keep within the game budget using only what I actually scrounged.
This 'Fort' has -
- 20 Beds
- 24 Water (Better Generators )
- 20+ Food
- 3 Stores
- All crafting workbenches
- Defense 224

Longer Power Lines
Clean Beds
Additional Fort Finch Notes
Scrap or store everything EXCEPT for the floorboards to Finch's farmhouse. You can also leave most of the signs in the Finch house if you wish. They look pretty good as decoration for the stores area. ;)
Installation
The folder needs to be extracted and placed in your 'Transfer Settlements' folder. 7zip
/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Fallout4/Data/F4SE/plugins/TransferSettlements/blueprints/
