What's this?
This is a preset for ENBseries that makes the game look better. It's a complete overhaul of my earlier work, but the essence is still the game - through the power of Temporal Luminance-Based Sharpening, New-Type Special Filmic Tonemapping, Hyper-Realistic Immersive Film Grain, (Optional) Light-Wave Chromatic Aberration, Hyper Cine-Bloom, Temporally Filtered Morphological Anti-Aliasing, and more, this brings you a graphical experience even *further* along the cutting edge between reality and dreams. Everything is possible. Nothing is forbidden¹. Version 2.1. (See below for changelog.)

Sharper than a 4K texture pack. More graphical fidelity than twenty ReShade presets stacked onto each other. Improved shaders. Improved shading. The look and feel of film. The sharpness of reality. The smoothness of a dream. The warmth of being wrapped up tightly on a winter day. All this, and more.

Scientists have long theorized about the existence of alternate realities. Well, you've just stepped into one. The hyperbole is real.

How does it work?
It replaces and adds to the game's shaders using the functionality present in ENBseries.

Are you serious?
Tonally? No. Factually? Yes.

How do I install it?
0) (Optional) Install True Shadows. Warning: High performance impact! An alternative is More Shadows. Neither is required, but Improved and Expanded Everything 2 is tuned to work best with realistic shadow mods.
1) Uninstall (backup first if necessary) any ENBseries or ReShade presets or files currently present in your Fallout 4 directory. While ENBseries and ReShade can work together, this preset is not designed for it, and any such alterations will dilute the essence of Improved and Expanded Everything 2.
2) (Recommended) Download and install Natural and Atmospheric Commonwealth. (Note: This mod was tested with 0.8.1, but later versions should work fine.)
3) Download the latest version of the ENBseries binaries from ENBdev and copy over d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e.dll to your Fallout4 directory.
4) Extract the contents of Improved and Expanded Everything 2's archive into your Fallout 4 directory, so that enbseries.ini and the enbseries directory are in the same place as Fallout4.exe.
5) In Fallout 4's options, disable SAO and/or HBAO.
6) Run the game and experience the incredible, amazing, fantastic graphical fidelity of Improved and Expanded Everything 2.

Is this compatible with other mods?
Yes. Mostly. Other presets for ENB or ReShade will conflict and produce unseemly visuals. Texture mods will work, not that you'll need them.

What's changed in this release?
2.3
Added a higher quality noise algorithm using blue noise.
Miscellaneous Depth of Field issues have been fixed.
The intensity of bloom has been reduced.
Various other tweaks and changes.

2.1

Exposure and eye adaptation has been added.
The intensity of bloom has been adjusted.
The default mask for the dirty lens effect has been changed. Also, the effect intensity has been adjusted.
Letterboxing (disabled by default) has been added.
Contrast calculation for the game's colour correction has been modified, and will crush dark tones less often as a result.
An issue in bloom processing that was causing pixellation artefacts has been corrected. As a result of this, the radius and smoothness of bloom has increased.
An issue where exceeding 60 FPS would cause the screen to black out has been resolved.

Are there any bugs?
Maybe. Perfection is an unattainable dream. If you find any, report them under the BUGS section.
