I feel like the size of Mini Nuke should deliver more nuclear explosion that's why I Made this mod that makes the Big Boy and Fat Man about 8 times more powerful, so do not use them inside the buildings because there is no chance you would survive. 
Use the weapon outside to kill a group of enemies or a boss and make sure you keep a good distance between you and the enemy.
