HACKY FIX FOR MISSING CURIE'S GUN ON A GAME IN PROGRESS: Use the console and click Curie and type "resurrect" and that should reset her inventory. Just make sure she doesn't have anything you don't want to go missing.

STAT FIX FOR A GAME IN PROGRESS: I have included bat files for changing stats during a game in progress. They will also allow you to use the stat changes if you just want the fixes. To install them, place the included text files in your Fallout 4 directory. To use them, open the console, select the companion to update, type "bat filename" without the .txt, and hit enter. For example, to update Cait, you would select her in the console, type "bat Caitstats", and hit enter.

DESCRIPTION:
I got annoyed with companions breaking my stealth and breaking their legs. In fact, when they broke their legs, they rather often got stuck in the sitting position for quite a while. I can't fix that, but I can fix other things to keep it from happening so often. And once I started fixing that, I found other problems! Missing perks, Curie's gun...

All the mods I saw that tried to address any of the issues I had either change people's faces by design or cause the face bug, so I made my own.

And then it snowballed. Since it snowballed, I've split the mod into a version that has just the fixes and one that has the fixes and the changes. There is also an Immersion version of each! In Immersion, Strong and Danse still ruin your stealth. Sneak perks and "doesn't affect stealth" were removed.

A NOTE ON STATS:
Original combined SPECIAL stat spread ranged from BeforeCurie at 35 to X6-99 at 95. They were a startling low and a startling high outlier respectively. I'm not aiming to 100% make their point stats the same, but Curie badly needed help and X6-99 needed a cutback. I also wanted Preston, MacCready, and Cait to be a BIT more better than the dog, since they were oddly close statwise, so I tossed them a few points where they made sense. (Strength for Cait, Perception for Garvey and MacCready) They at least match Deacon now.

The problem is that directly changing companion stats did not seem to work out ingame. Ever. Even if I used RecycleActor. Perhaps it would have worked out in a new game, but I preferred to be safe instead of sorry. I was changing some classes anyway, so I put unique classes on each companion whose stats I changed to bump their stats accordingly. I also fixed Strong's stats to once again match his vanilla stats. (caused by making him not a Courser) Batch files were the best fix for a game in progress. Even though I gave Strong his own class, since it has the same stats as his old one, he doesn't need updating with a batch file.

Thanks to ParasiteX for noting that using "Is CharGen Face Preset" in a mod for human companions keeps them from losing their faces when they're modded.

COMPATIBILITY:
Incompatible with anything that changes companion entries, like face mods. You can use FO4Edit to copy over the face changes though!
Compatible with Companion Infinite Ammo, Companion Unbreakable Power Armor, and Companion Infinite Ammo and Unbreakable Power Armor by TheTalkieToaster.

Gave actor effect that allows Live/Love to work to Preston Garvey, Dogmeat, MacCready, all versions of Curie, and Cait.
Gave perk that allows Inspiration to work to all versions of Curie.
Fixed Curie's gun.
Experimental fix for Curie running into melee range all the damn time even with her gun.
Fixed problems modding Codsworth in Automatron.
Fixed Ada and Old Longfellow to match everyone else.
Carried over unofficial patch fixes for all but the stealth only files.

TWEAKS:
Ticked "Doesn't Affect Stealth Meter" for all companions who were missing it. (This could be unnecessary, but I'd rather be certain)
Gave all companions stealth perks where they were missing them. (to match the perks some of them already had)
Gave all companions perk to remove fall damage to avoid getting stuck in legs broken position.
Added abCompanionResistAdjust to companions missing it for consistency.
Re-added Piper's "Road Goggles" to her inventory.
Gave Danse a matching helmet. It's just in his inventory, you have to put it on if you want it. No more vanishing helmet!
Stat rebalance for Preston Garvey, MacCready, Cait, X6-99, BeforeCurie, and AfterCurie via giving them unique classes. Some of their classes were bizarre anyway. (Strong the Courser?!)
Unique class for Strong, though I didn't change his stat total.
