Remember in Fallout 3 how the flamer pwned everything. You can now experience that same pwnage.
You are after all forcing them to inhale fire, they shouldn't live too long with the oxygen being riped from their lungs.

Since New Vegas the flamer has been a bit nerfed. For covering someone in napalm and lighting them on fire the flamer doesn't seem to cut it anymore. You can now experience the fallout 3 flamer (or close to it). Now with x3 or x7 range as well
I have a x3 and a x2 damage mod if you think the x3 is over kill. Which I kinda do but it was the same in fallout 3 which I loved.
The only problem I noticed was in VATS you do no damage and if you continue to fire after VATS it still does no damage. You need to stop firing for a few secs. I uninstalled all my mods and it was still doing it, so I believe it's just a glitch with the flamer in VATS.
