HUGE NOTE HERE PLEASE:
These Seasons packages look cool with the addition of More Grass Low by Meltus. Recommended More Grass Low is in Optional Files section.

This Mod may drop your FPS.
The Seasons 3.0 packages contain textures ranging from Vanilla to 4k. Just try it and see how it works for you.

Please go look at pictures of modern day Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Bikini Atoll (23 nuclear devices!) and Chernobyl if you think nature shouldn't return with a vengeance after nuclear devastation. If you don't like it, don't use it.

PLEASE ALWAYS READ STICKY NOTES FOR FAQ AND MOST RECENT INFO.

Textures for the Seasons Project were painstakingly hand selected one by one from various source mods. Many textures were then also switched around, mixed & matched, recolored, or otherwise tweaked to better suit the Season they are in. The result is a complete overhaul for each season with the attempt to make each one distinct and appropriate to a world in which nature has triumphed over the wasteland. The eventual goal after the Creation Kit is available is to build an optional mod from these packages that will switch seasons automatically. Currently, they are ONLY Textures/Meshes and should not hurt your game to install/uninstall at any time. (See install/uninstall below about a NMM bug you might experience!)

AVAILABLE SEASONS:

FALL SEASON - Bright autumn foliage and plants. Harvest time looks for appropriate crops.
* Optional Alternate Fall Tree Textures - Some trees are fuller and fluffier, less sparse, but more blocky.
WINTER SEASON - It's snow everywhere folks! And "snowing" too if you like. Most everything is dead or dried out or slumbering.
SPRING SEASON - Quite colorful! Green time for crops, and bright blooming flowers and plants!
SUMMER SEASON - Less bright greens, few flowers, harvest time looks for appropriate crops.
* Optional Alternate Spring or Summer Tree Textures - Some trees are fuller and fluffier, less sparse, but more blocky.

Divine Revelation - (A note on this mod, which has been removed from Nexus. I asked for and received direct permission from all the mod authors who - I believe - may have had some of their files incorporated into DR. If I have missed something, I hope that I will be informed so that I can correct any error. Most DR assets replaced in 3.0 versions.)

***Thank you to all the wonderful mod reviewers for the videos! Check out even more videos here! ***

Please note that these mods are all early made before an official creation kit, and neither I nor the original mod authors are responsible for any bugs in your game (although I personally have used these for many hours with no issues). Some things may not look absolutely terrific, but please remember this is what is available now, before creation kit, so be nice. Improvements will hopefully be made after official Creation Kit is out.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND additional mods for the ultimate landscape & gaming experience. (Screenshots do not show these mods, BTW.)
(Install BEFORE FO4 Seasons mod in the order below order & overwrite when asked.)

**Grafix. I love this overhaul too and use it in my game. The Landscapes folder from that mod is almost entirely overwritten, however.**

COMPATIBILITY

This mod just replaces textures and some few meshes. Should be compatible with just about everything, but may overwrite some textures for Seasons effects. Compatible with True Storms. Add on Nuclear Weather (link above) for snowstorms, and more additional weathers too.

INSTALLATION

BACK UP YOUR DAMN DATA FOLDER AND SAVE GAMES BEFORE YOU INSTALL ANY NEW MOD! Just saying. :-)

Nexus Mod Manager - Download using the NMM button and then install, or download using the manual link (RECOMMENDED) and copy folder into your NMM mod manager and install. Big files sometimes corrupt or break when using the NMM button to download.

Manual Installation - I REALLY recommend using NMM to install. If not, however, download using the manual link, then BACKUP YOUR DATA FILE FIRST, unzip the .rar file and drag the contents into your data folder and overwrite when asked.

Any Other Mod Manager - I don't use them and know nothing about them, so proceed at your own risk.

UNINSTALL

Nexus Mod Manager - Just uninstall using the NMM function. * There have been a few reports of not all textures uninstalling when uninstalling a Seasons package. This is NOT specific to this mod. I have experienced this bug with Nexus Mod Manager when installing and uninstalling other texture mods, such as Grafix and Vivid Landscapes.

If you have NO other landscape mods installed, you can simply uninstall your Seasons package, then delete the Fallout 4/Data/Textures/Landscape and Fallout 4/Data/Meshes/Landscape folders and it should put everything back to Vanilla. If you DO have other landscape mods installed, try uninstalling them, then deleting those folders if they are there, and then reinstalling those mods. It's a pain, but there is some glitch going on with NMM in what seems to be rare cases that is not restricted to just this mod.

Manual Uninstall - I really recommend using NMM, but if not, you'll be needing that backup Data folder you made, you crazy person.

Any Other Mod Manager - I don't use them and know nothing about them, so proceed at your own risk.

** If this Mod should ever be abandoned (no updates or comments from me) for more than 120 days, I hereby bequeath it to anyone who wants to take it over and give Nexus permission to transfer the file to their ownership. I never want to be one of those people who abandon a mod and then no one else can ever do anything with it! **
