Are you keeping your wedding rings for sentimental value? Not sure what to do with them? With this mod, now your wedding ring and your spouse's wedding ring both grant a bonus to your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attributes, even while in Power Armor, can be enchanted with legendary enchantments, and have beautiful gold and diamond textures by Xazomn.

Are you keeping your wedding rings for sentimental value? Not sure what to do with them? With this mod, now your wedding ring and your spouse's wedding ring both grant a bonus to your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attributes, even while in Power Armor, can be enchanted with legendary enchantments, and are worth several thousand caps each! Choose to wear one for yourself and give the other to your SPECIAL someone in-game, wear both at once, or trade away one or both for that uber-legendary item! Yes, your followers do benefit from attribute enhancing gear, so you should be generous and share the wealth with them. Now with Gold N Diamond Wedding Rings textures by Xazomn.
This mod made with FO4Edit as single plugin (esp file) and should be safe to use. It provides overrides for two items, and changes their names to:
Each ring adds +2 to charisma, and +1 to each other S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attribute, even while in power armor, and you can apply legendary enchantments to them. Also updates the texture for the "Mine" ring to be gold and diamonds, and for the "Spouse" ring to be a plain gold band.
This mod is fully compatible with NMM. But, if you want to install manually, just extract one of the two ESP files from 1 - Plugin\SPECIALWeddingRings-SlotXX.esp to the Data folder and rename to SPECIALWeddingRings.esp, copy the 2 - Textures and 3 - Scripts folder content to your Data folder, and activate the mod by placing SPECIALWeddingRings.esp at the end of your plugins.txt file with an asterisk in front of it.
This mod works with new or existing games.
As of version 1.3, this mod is fully compatible with and requires Armor and Weapon Keywords Community Resource (AWKCR). Compatible with but does not require Armorsmith Extended (AE). Make sure SPECIALWedingRings.esp comes after those two in the plugin load order.
Have you already sold off your rings and want them back? Then too bad... those are your only memories left of your dead spouse, shame on you! Really though, you can get them back by using the player.additem console command with the item IDs above, so:
Do you think these rings are too powerful? Then don't use them. If a dress can add CHR+3, why can't a nice ring add CHR+2. Also, +1 to each attribute is not game-breaking. Plus, just like the rest of your armor and clothing, rings are not active while in in power armor. So once you or your special someone climbs into power armor, the bonuses go away. Also, try playing on Survival difficulty, and you'll need all the advantages you can get to keep from reloading after death all the time.
