This mod makes no sense especially since legendaries are already a horrible bullet sponges on survival, giving them even more hp is a horrible idea problem is that they dont drop anything, fallout 4 drops are a joke, +1 to int or 50+ milerulk dmg seem like something made too piss you off not as a reward for killing a hard enemy
bad idea for a mod, if something legendaries need to start dropping things that are worth your time
If you have an amazing legendary that tears through the game like most do on survival (i.e. explosive combat shotgun), then this makes more sense. I one shot overkill anything at close-mid range that isnt a unique enemy.
Uhh, that's, like, your opinion, man. I crush legendaries like no tomorrow, so this mod makes perfect sense to me and I disagree that it is a "bad idea." Legendaries are supposed to be tough, hence their title "legendary." Seeing one in the game, in my opinion, should be a "holy crap, it's a legendary" moment. I will agree that I would like a mod that makes them drop better items, since I find I keep getting shitty leather and synth gear. But, then again, I have a mod that allows me to craft legendary enhancements using broken down legendary parts.
What I'd really like is a mod that makes deathclaws and behemoths tough as hell. REALLY touch. Right now they're easier to kill than armored gunners. I can two-shot the former and three-shot the latter. Very disappointing.
Hmm, thougher deathclaws and behemoths in general... Not a bad idea actually; i might look into it. Alternatively, what about, for example, make them move and attack faster? Or some other sort of tweak that makes them more of a challenge, without exclusively changing their health?
Yes, unfortunately I had issues (as described on description page) with getting this mod to work initially. I managed to fix this by giving all legendaries a "fortify health" buff, however for some reason that causes the extra health to literally go off the charts: It's not properly displayed on the health bars and as a result it might appear that enemies are taking no damage, while what’s actually happening is that you're damaging the part of the health bar that's off the charts.
Somehow, the stats of the legendaries are linked to A. their non-legendary counterpart and B. their respective "tier 1" enemy (for example all savage, chameleon and matriarch deathclaws are all stats-wise linked to the good old' ordinary deathclaw). As of yet, I’ve not exactly managed to figure out how all these relations are put together. In addition, due to incomplete information displayed in FO4Edit, I’ve the impression that the official Bethesda tools will be required for a proper remake of this mod.
I’ll into your idea of adding resistances though, based on what I’ve done thus far I think it should be doable.

Adding more health seems to be bugged though so maybe more defense and more damage done?
