EDIT ------------------
03DEC:
Added the option for JUST the recon scope (R).  There will be no further updates unless something is actually broken.

02DEC:
Added an option for recon scope + HUD.  When you type in "help...." it will come up as "Wedding Ring (T+R)".
END EDIT -------------------------

Nothing special to see here.
I just got tired of being practically blind outside my power suit so I looked around for a mod to grant the targeting HUD without armor.  Couldn't find anything except http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2498/? and that still required something visible, so I whipped up something extremely small - only thing it does is add a new item called "Wedding Ring (T)" which has the targeting HUD built in.

Installation is the same as all your other mods - edit your .ini files and place the contents of the .zip (one .esp file) in the Fallout4/DATA directory.

There is no way to obtain it in game other than console commands so you'll have to do the following:
into the console type:

help wedding 4 armo

No quotes needed.  Once it spits out your 2 results, type:

player.additem XXXXXXXX

and replace the XXXXXXXX with the ID that the game told you corresponds to "Wedding Ring (T)"

This does not replace any existing items, it only adds a new one so it should cause minimal problems, but I have done zero testing as far as broken saves and such so use at your own risk - still, should be minimal since it's such a small mod.

Oh, and it has a leftover +1 Perception from guffeh's code that I gutted.  I feel like anyone who is putting a targeting HUD on their wedding ring will be ok with that.
--------

Known issues: Entering power armor disables all of the armor/clothing underneath - this applies to the wedding ring as well.  I fiddled around with giving the power armor frames the HUD, but it was finnicky and only worked part of the time so I took that part out. Oh well, put on your helmet!
