About this mod

A craftable post bag for you to equip, simple as that.
It raises your endurance by 1 and more importantly your carry weight by 30.
Downside is that it uses your chest slot for armor pieces. But fear not because it hides your butt so you get a 1 DR bonus, too.
Craftable, modable pockets and a possible legendary upgrade. Yay.

Permissions and credits
A craftable and working post bag for you to equip, simple as that.
You can craft it at the chem station in the bags category and you need some leather and adhesive.
It raises your endurance by 1 and more importantly your carry weight by 30 for you or your companion.
Downside is that it uses the chest slot for armor pieces. But fear not because it hides your butt so you get a 1 DR bonus, too.
If that's not enough you can add two modifications at the armor station or even make it legendary if you have meet the requirements.

I prefer my mods to be as lore friendly as possible while still trying to maintain some sort of balance. Therefore no ring/bandana slot nonsense as the Post Bag is not a purely aesthetic item. (you are of course free to edit the file to your personal preference if needed)

Update v1.4

New texture and legendary addon
-The Post Bag now includes two additional textures to choose from at the armor crafting station made by
 Jeytheexmarine.
-Calling this mod "Post Bag" seems rather wrong by now...
-There is a pre and postwar version of the medic bag texture.
-Changing to the medic bag texture also changes the name to Medic Bag
-New legendary upgrade called The Medic that increase your HP and uses stimpaks automatically if you take enough damage.
-Keep in mind that the legendary upgrades are a one way ticket. No addon crate will be created so you will have to pay the crafting price again if you want to change the legendary.
-Keep also in mind that one of the needed items to craft the legendary upgrade is a deathclaw hide. This is a junk item and will be used up as leather if you don't pay attention what items will be used while crafting something that needs leather.

Update v1.3
Added a modification slot for textures/looks.
-at the armor workbench it is now possible to change the look of your Post Bag.
-a fresh build Post Bag looks rundown as usual but you can now use the workbench to change it to a pre war look and back.
-the changes are free and don't create mod crates as it's purely cosmetic anyway.
-it only adds the ability to switch between post war and pre war look as I'm pretty bad at texturing and only have to game textures I can use.
-looks like a minor addition but this added the framework to add additional textures without much hassle should I ever need to.

Update v1.2.2
Another small addition.
-Now the name changes depending on used modifications for the Post Bag.
-If you're already using the Post Bag mod you can drop it ingame and pick it back up to reload the item and the name.

Update v1.2.1
This is actually only some minor clean up of unnecessary data in the main file.

But with this update I also decided to upload an optional file for compatibility with Crafting Workbenches.
-This patch should load AFTER the Post Bag and CW files.
-It moves the Post Bag from the chem station to the clothing station.
-And yes, it says 0kb on the download page because it's not even 1kb in size. Still works.
Thanks to jaytheexmarine for reminding me that I never uploaded this initially private modification.

Update v1.2
-Added a possibility to upgrade the Post Bag to legendary status with a special effect if you meet the required perks and have some uncommon items to build it.
-Reworked the pocket mods so it is now possible to downgrade if you really want.

Update v1.1
Added armor crafting station support
-It is now possible to modify the Post Bag with two addons which raise the carry capacity by 10 / 20 lb.
-The larger upgrade also requires Armorer Perk 1.

Installation:
NMM installation compatible.

Make sure your game is mod ready.
There are tutorials that explain in detail how this works. Gophers videos are a good start.

Created with B.A.E.FO4EditMaterial Editor, and Nifskope.
Big thanks to those people.

Sidenote: Some clipping issues with larger armor.
