NOTICE


I deeply apologize for not being able to update my mods. I have been quite sick to a point where it is very hard to use the computer.

Thank you for all who supported my work and I hope to return to participate more ASAP.



INTRO


This was the first tutorial on how to install mods on FO4, even before any videos were published.

In less than a week a lot of things have changed and we have already some good Mod managers out there and some great videos from Gopher.

I will keep this info still for those who want to do it manually and also will try to update as more Managers/Tools come out.



Reason


I made already a few mods with .esp extension that work in FO4.

I will try to update this guide with more clear info from feedback from the users.
It's hard to make a writing about technical stuff not knowing what the actual the user knows about Windows, about modding, etc.
So I tried to make it very simple.



Some people don't know how it works to install mods with .esp or .esm manually so this is the way.

No matter how basic it is to install Fallout 4 plugins, some people keep asking how to do it, I understand that a lot are new users of Nexus and some playing Beth's games for the first time.

So this is a a short tutorial how to do it manually with .esp and .esm.


UPDATE (1, DEC 2015)

I am working on a huge mod (overhaul) and that has kept me pretty busy so the time to help, answer questions or update this mod is quite limited. 

The good news about this is I will release a mod that will overhaul a great part of the good possibilities that this game has to offer, simplifying a lot from crafting, settlements, game settings, combat strategies, bug fixes and merging it all in one file.


I can't spoil you yet with what's coming but from my tests it's already looking and feeling great. The mod is already up (hidden for testing) it's called FO4 Lab XT.


Anyhow, modders interested in this project and that are willing to participate, feel free to contact me privately and I will let you know the details and eventually participate.
