Many of us have been using the first iteration of DeadPool2099's Assault Carbine and Service Rifle ever since it was first released, and some might remember a mod I released that replaced their firing sounds with new sounds by Magmacow. To celebrate DeadPool's remake of the original mod, I decided to also remake my alternate firing sounds. The new sounds are a combination of Navaro's F2000 and CZ805 sound resources on Gamebanana, used under the provisions of the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial 4.0 International License (included on the page for both resources), along with some other sounds mixed in at the very beginning for a little added bass. Navaro deserves full credit for these sound effects, all I've done is mash them together and loop them a few times. If you like these sounds, make sure to send your praise to him, and if he for any reason decides that he does not want these to remain available I will immediately remove them upon request.

The main file will apply these sounds to DeadPool's Service Rifle Redux; his original Service Rifle and Assault Carbine; TrainsCDG's M4, M16 and XM16; and there is an optional version that applies them to FX0x01's RU556. I plan on also making another optional version for Wasteland Melody's Service Rifle and Assault Carbine, but I need to make 420 and 540 RPM loops for that. There is now an optional version for Wasteland Melody's Service Rifle. There will be Xbox One releases for all four versions soon, both individually and in an all-in-one pack.

In the case of DeadPool2099, TrainsCDG and FX0x01's mods these sounds will override the sound effects in the mods' archives ingame but will not overwrite anything, meaning if you ever want to go back to the original sounds, all you need to do is uninstall these. In the case of Wasteland Melody's mod, it uses loose files for the firing sounds by default, meaning you will need to overwrite his files with these. If you ever want to go back you will need to either make a backup of the original sounds or just reinstall his mod.

If you're not quite fond of these sounds, consider trying the original Alternate AR15 Sounds mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24955. The original will always remain available for anyone that prefers those sounds over these, unless Magmacow revokes his permission.
