Hullos all!
I got SO tired of listening to Dogmeats incessant panting, whining, barks, etc. - so I wanted him to SHUT UP! There's a couple other mods for him, but none made him totally quiet.
This mod replaces ALL sounds in Dogmeat's sound folder with silent ones.
He won't make a single sound. Ever.
Edit: Added my own tweaked version for download, no panting or whimpers, but a couple barks and whinig when Dogmeat's hurt.)
Unless you tweak this mod...
You go to your "Fallout 4\Data\sound\fx\npc\dogmeat" folder and DELETE the sounds you want to hear.
It's "reversed": The files in that folder are the ones in this mod (silence). By deleting them, the original sounds will be enabled again.
File names to delete are semi-self explanatory. If you mess up, just install the mod again.
UPDATE:
Made an extra file with most whimpers and panting removed. Use either file, not both at the same time.
Manual install:
Extract archive to your Fallout4\Data\ folder.
NOTE:
You can still use other mods changing Dogmeat's sounds. Just install them after this one and overwrite the files in this mod.
