This is a simple retexture of the Sequin Dress (including the shoes that go with it). The dress is now a dark blue, and the shoes are essentially solid black (they may appear more dark gray if your brightness is higher than normal).

Note: Added optional pink version by request. Pink version is stand-alone, and doesn't require the dark blue version or any files from it in order to work.



Installation

Extract the ZIP archive that you downloaded, and then copy the Textures folder into your Fallout 4 Data folder. You can usually find it in one of the following locations:

• C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4\Data
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4\Data
  

Nexus Mod Manager and/or Vortex can also be used to install this mod.

*NOTE* As far as I know, the below is obsolete, and is no longer necessary to get custom textures to work. Follow these instructions instead.

In order to get the game to load custom textures, you will need to edit the Fallout4.ini file in your My Documents folder. The easy way to get to where the Fallout4.ini file is located is to open the Run dialog by holding down the Windows logo key on the keyboard and tapping the R key, and then paste the following into the field and click OK:

• %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Fallout4
  

*NOTE* The above does not work on Windows XP, however I assume that doesn't matter.

Once you have Fallout4.ini open, search for a line that starts out like the following:

• sResourceDataDirsFinal=
  

Add , TEXTURES\ to the end of the line. It should look something like the following when done:

• sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\
  

If you are using a mod that required editing sResourceDataDirsFinal to add something other than TEXTURES\, then add TEXTURES\ to the end. As an example, if you have Full Dialogue Interface installed, then that line would like something like the following:

• sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, INTERFACE\, TEXTURES\
  

Uninstall

Navigate to your Fallout 4 Data folder, then look for the following file and delete it:

• ...\Textures\clothes\slinkydress\slinkysequindress_d.dds
  

Requirements

None (other than a working copy of Fallout 4).
