About this mod

This mod changes some of the things dropped by the Raider Gang Bosses of Nuka World. Hoping to add a perk to the quest "Open Season!" eventually.

Description:
I noticed that when it comes to the quest Open Season!, all the player really receives is whatever is on the corpses of the bosses and their henchmen. So what this mod does is add some moderately better loot to each gang boss to give the player more of a reward for killing them. In this case I changed the weapons the bosses use, along with tweaking their armor values to be a bit better compared to what they were using before. In this case, the armor of the gang bosses tend to protect against more damage, while also being a bit lighter, and are worth a lot more than before. I reasoned that because they are the boss of their gang, they should still use a slightly better versions of the items than the items the other members of the gang use, and because they are a boss, their armor should also be worth a lot(because a lot of people probably wanted them dead).

Changes to Weapons and Armor:

So there's a few changes I made for the weapons and armor of the gang bosses. Now the gang bosses have armor named after them. It's no longer "Operator's Heavy Left Bracer", it's now "William's Heavy Operator Left Bracer". Granted it's just adding the name of the boss to the armor piece, but I thought it was a nice touch. As stated before, I also tweaked the values of the armor so that it's stronger, lighter, and a bit more valuable(in case you want to sell it.)

I also gave William Black a cowboy hat, because I thought it would look cool, and to set him aside from his sister. The way I reason it, his sister is the planner, while he's the executioner, and as of right now, the only means I have to communicate that is through a hat.

For the weapons the changes I made were a bit more interesting.

Mason:
Mason now uses "The Terrible Shotgun", it's not actually the terrible shotgun from Fallout 3, it's just a normal combat shotgun with tweaked values to make it lot more powerful, as a trade off, it also has less range, uses more AP per shot than a standard combat shotgun, crits using the shotgun do less damage than with a normal shotgun, and it also charges the crit gauge less quickly. On the other hand, it has a lot more base damage than a standard combat shotgun.
Mason also has a knife called "Jericho's Combat Knife", I did not misname that, it is named after Jericho from Fallout 3. My reasoning for this one is that Jericho is 65 in fallout 3, and was once a raider, not much of a stretch to say he had a combat knife that he lost or gave to someone, eventually getting into the hands of Mason. The knife does more damage than a standard combat knife, does more damage with crits, and has a higher crit charge bonus, it also uses less ap than a standard combat knife. Because combat knives are pretty weak in the base game, I think these changes are not too bad.

Nisha:
Nisha has a disciple's knife  named after her. It does more damage than a standard disciple's knife, however, it also does less damage with crits, and also takes slightly longer to charge the crit gauge.
Also, Nisha uses a hunting rifle rather than a plasma rifle. I wasn't sure why Nisha would actually have a plasma rifle. Now she has a hunting rifle named after her, where it does a lot more damage than a standard hunting rifle, while also having a higher range. It also does more damage when it crits. However, it takes more AP per shot, and the crit gauge takes longer to charge when using it.

Mags and William are sort of a 2 in 1 deal, so they each only get 1 special weapon
Mags Black:
Mags uses a handmade rifle named after her,  the rifle does more base damage and charges the crit gauge faster than a normal rifle, but also  has slightly weaker crits than a standard handmade rifle.

William Black:
He now uses a western revolver to help set him aside from his sister (and to give gunslingers something nice.) Williams Revolver actually does less base damage than a normal western revolver, but does much higher crit damage, along with charging the crit gauge slightly faster. It also takes less AP per shot than a standard Western Revolver.

Known Issues:
None as of right now.

Potential Things to Add:
If possible, I would like to add a perk to the the quest Open Season!, where it starts out weak, but as you kill the gang bosses, it gets stronger. The perk is already made, the issue I'm having is how to implement it. I think a perk magazine would work, but when I attempted to do that I was having a few issues. Doesn't help that the only thing I can use is FO4Edit, as the creation kit just crashes on startup for me. but yeah, if someone could give me suggestions on what to do, along with steps on how to do it using F04Edit, that would be vastly appreciated.
I would also like to have a message whenever one of the special weapons are picked up, but I'm not actually sure how to go about that.

This mod basically covers the perk portion that I want to do with this mod. So, I would definitely recommend you use that mod with this one.
