Crafting Control
v1.5

06/09/18

Description,

If you are like me and not the biggest fan of the workshop crafting content, Not hating it but, not loving it! if you get tired of muddling through all the Workshop Build Menus and the stuff added by the Season Pass that you purchased before knowing what DLC for FO4 would be like, you may be interested in this little mod. Crafting Control will give you the option to hide Vanilla and DLC Workshop Menu items before entering build mode.

This mod does not change or edit craftable items in the Armor Bench, Power Armor Workbench, Weapons Bench, Cooking Station, Chemistry Bench or Robot Workbench, it only allows you to configure the main Workshop Build menu.

It gives you options to,

  • Disable/Enable All Workshop Menus - This option will hide All Vanilla Base Game and DLC Workshop Build items leaving you only with Creation Club and Mod added objects.
  • Disable/Enable All Vanilla Workshop Menus - This option will hide only the vanilla workshop objects leaving you with DLC added objects, Creation Club Added Objects and Mod Added objects.
  • Disable/Enable All DLC Workshop Menus - This option will hide only the DLC added workshop objects leaving you with only Vanilla objects, Creation Club objects and Mod added objects.

DLC Sub Menu,

  • Disable/Enable each DLC Individually - These options allow you to pick an choose which DLC objects you want in the Main Workshop menu. Example is I've never once used anything from Contraptions DLC, now I can turn it off and get it out of my way.

!!! Important !!!

Note: Quest related objects will get hidden with the menu's you've chosen. Artillery With any option that hides the Vanilla menus, Robot workbench with any option that hides Automatron DLC. You'll need to re-enable them if you get to a stage where you have to craft them.

All vanilla requirements for crafting any given object still apply.

How this mod works,

On the start of a new game just after finishing the intro tutorial or on load of a game where the intro tutorial has already been completed, a (Settings) Crafting Control holotape will be added to your inventory. From here you can then choose which DLC objects you want available but, at any time before entering build mode you can open the holotape and change your settings allowing you the ability to pick and choose how cluttered you want your workshop menu to be at any given time.

It uses a "GetDisabled" Condition on the workshop recipe's when choosing an option an xMarker will be Disabled/Enabled thus hiding or showing the options you've chosen.

Creation Club Versions give you options to,

  • Disable/Enable All CC workshop menus,  - This option will hide only the CC added workshop objects leaving with only Vanilla objects, DLC object and Mod added objects,

CC Options Sub Menu,

  • Disable/Enable each Creation Club content Individually - These options allow you to pick an choose which Creation club objects you want in the Main Workshop menu,
  • Disable/Enable the Modern Furniture pack,
  • Disable/Enable the Home Decor Default pack, (By default the Home Decor pack shows in the vanilla menus but also in it's own Creation Club Menu)
  • Disable/Enable the Home Decor Pack in only the Creation Club Menu keeping it in the Vanilla Menus,
  • Disable/Enable the Home Decor Pack in only the vanilla menus keeping it in it's Creation Club Menu,
  • Disable/Enable Slocum Joe's Default Pack,
  • Disable/Enable Slocum Joe's Pack in only the Creation Club Menu keeping it in the Vanilla Menus.
  • Disable/Enable Slocum Joe's Pack in only the vanilla menus keeping it in the Creation Club Menu,
  • Disable/Enable the Arcade Default Pack,
  • Disable/Enable the Arcade Pack in only the Creation Club Menu  keeping it in the Vanilla Menus,
  • Disable/Enable the Arcade Pack in only the vanilla menus keeping it in the Creation Cub Menu,

Options depend on which CC version your using,
