Water pumps give you dirty water instead of purified, you also suffer radiation damage from drinking directly from the pump.

I found that it was too easy to gain purified water in survival, so I changed the pumps to give dirty water instead. Drinking directly from the tap gives you radiation damage too.
Also included is an optional plugin with an alternative purified water recipe that I though worked a bit better. Especially useful if you use a bottle reclamation mod, so making purified water doesn't just vaporize your bottles into thin air.
The purified water recipe is as follows:
1 x Dirty water
1 x Cloth
2 x Antiseptic
4 x Wood
The idea is you make a makeshift water filter and remove the radioactive particles from the water.
