This is a retexture for Rifle version of the Recon Scope. Designed to give it a more salvaged look.

This retexture is designed to make the rifle's recon scope look like it's been sitting around in a dumpster for the past 200 years. The original was just a bit too clean for me.
This is my 2nd retexturing of the Recon Scope. This version covers the Rifle Recon Scope. If you're looking for a retexture of the pistol's recon scope, check out this link for my original mod:
Salvaged Recon Scope - Pistol
This is my 2nd time creating anything modding related. I thought it'd be a walk in the park after my first one, just applying what I already learned. Boy, was I wrong. :) The rifle's recon has a ton of seams that I, in my limited knowledge of Gimp, had an amazingly hard time covering. But, I'm happy with what I came up with, and hope it's not too noticeable for others.
Many thanks to DirtyAlien for allowing me to use the his texture for the scope's wire. It's a beautiful, filthy piece of work that I never could have topped. For those looking for a less junky, more badass, 4k retexture of the rifle recon, please check out his mod:

Install with a manager, or if manually installing, place the "texture" folder from my mod into the "data" folder insider your Fallout 4 folder.
