Salvaged Recon Scope - Rifle
This is my first time creating a mod for anything. If I've messed anything up, please let me know and I'll see what I can do.
This is a retexture of the recon scope to give it a more salvaged, junky look. I never paid much attention to the recon scope, until recently when I attached one to my pistol. I seriously couldn't play the game with it. So after glancing through the Nexus, I realized that most people tend to focus on the Rifle version of the scope. I could not find a Pistol version I enjoyed. So I pulled out Nifskope and Gimp which I have almost 0 experience with, and started teaching myself. After three days of tutorials, guides and a -lot- of trial and error, this is what I came up with. I hope you enjoy!

This retexture is in 2k. Currently, I have no plans on a 4k version. Through my newbness, a lot of what I used and did would not look good scaled up.
Right now, only the Pistol retexture is available. I am working on a version for the rifle to give it the same reclaimed from a dumpster look.
In the meantime, if you're looking for a 4k, high-quality, more badass less junky version for the rifle, check out DirtyAlien's mod:

Many thanks to him for allowing me to use the texture he came up with for his yellow wire. I just couldn't come up with something I liked, then saw his beautiful filthy wire and fell in love.
Install with a manager, or if manually installing, place the "texture" folder from my mod into the "data" folder insider your Fallout 4 folder.
