IMPORTANT!

This has nothing to do with "AlexanderBlades" Shadow Boost tool, this is instead of using that tool. Like when that tool don't support the new game version or you just don't want to be dependant on a tool / mod, you use this instead.

Shadow Boost .ini Tweak

Open up Fallout4Prefs.ini and chanage the following...

fDirShadowDistance=3000.0000
(this is what kills FPS (orginal=20000.0000 (may differ depending on your hardware)))

fShadowDistance=14000.0000
(3000 = Medium / 14000 = High / 20000 = Ultra (orginal=20000.0000 (may differ depending on your hardware)))

iShadowMapResolution=2048
(optional change this to 2048 (orginal=4096 (may differ depending on your hardware)))

fBlendSplitDirShadow=96.0
(This one doesn't impact performance, but drastically effects quality to the better * (orginal=48.0000))


* fBlendSplitDirShadow controls the distance over which the lower and higher quality shadows transition between one another,
changing it from 48 to a higher value improves the transition quality with minimal impact on performance.

** fBlendSplitDirShadow=96.0 is the best value to use, higher will show blurry shadows in certain angles.
