About this mod

The Fort Hagen Satellite Array is the headquarters of the Rust Devils and a pre-war military installation. However, it looks more like a dump then the base of operations for a high-tech group of raiders. This mod fixes that by cleaning it up and adds in a workshop as well.

Fort Hagen Satellite Array Overhaul
The main base of operations for the Rust Devils, this pre-war military installation looks more akin to a junkies' den with garbage, skeletons, and all sorts of things scattered about without rhyme or reason. One would imagine that one of the few group capable of actually maintaining and utilizing advanced technology would also take the time to tidy up their headquarters but apparently not.

However, all that and more is fixed with the Fort Hagen Satellite Array Overhaul.

By cleaning up the place, giving a genuine sense of being used by the military, and the Rust Devils themselves as well beyond the excessive robot decorations and dragging in a few beds, the facility feels more like a ruin that the Rust Devils just found the other day. In addition to these changes, there are two other significant ones that have also been made.

The biggest is a boost in enemy count, making Fort Hagen Satellite Array more challenging to fight through as there's now more robots and Rust Devils to take down in nearly every section. The rearrangement of defenses also stack the odds against you so make sure to come prepared to take on the gauntlet that is the Rust Devil's HQ.

The last change is the addition of an internal workshop located within the last room of the Satellite Array. If a loot chest containing the Assualtron Blade, Salvaged Assaultron Head, and Mr Handy Buzz Blade is present, you're in the right room. However, all enemies must be cleared out for it be usable. The second-to-last screenshot shows the exact location if you're still confused as to where to find it.

What can and can't be placed within the Rust Devil's HQ hasn't been thoroughly tested but feel free to leave comments and provide screenshots regarding what can be.

Future Plans
There is currently no plans to expand upon this mod for the time being, However, there are several additions that would be nice to include some point in the future.

1. Scrappable/movable barriers, vehicles, and practically everything else that can't be moved/scrapped with the workshop currently. This include robot totems, spare parts, and so forth.
2. Having pre-existing beds and power supplies incorporated into the workshop by default. Currently, you have to interact with the beds in workshop mode in order to make them count and there's no existing power supply. It's unknown if there's a way to have these integrated without making many changes.
3. A workshop for the exterior of the Satellite Array, allowing you to fortify and modify it as you please. Currently, there's only the pre-existing workbenches to use there.

If you have a way to incorporate these changes or wish to do so yourself, feel free to leave a comment telling me about it. Seeing how this is a relatively simple mod that doesn't use external assets, I have no issue with people making patches/changes as long as they notify and credit me with the original mod.

Recommended Mods

Icebreaker - Settlements - Settler Dialogue Overhaul - Adds in 400+ new lines of Settler dialogue to create greater variety and make the originals less repetitive.
Quieter Settlements - A simple mod that reduces sound made by generators, settlers, turrets, etc.
Settlement Object Expansion Pack - Another mod that adds in an absolutely immense number of objects to craft, including DLC content along with Automatron decorations.
Thematic and Practical - Workshop Settlements - Structures and Furniture - A mod which adds several thematic structures and furniture groups so you can make your settlement something other then high-tech or ramshackle.
Turn Into Static - Allows practical every object to be turned into a static one or vice versa, letting you move and scrap objects you couldn't otherwise. Incredibly useful for locations such as Fort Hagen Satellite Array.
