About this mod
A add-on to the M1911A1 - Standalone and DOOMBASED Weapons Merged mods that adds an additional modification to the M1911 handgun; an engraving with several color options. All other modifications are left in-tact and still work fine.

A add-on to the M1911A1 - Standalone and DOOMBASED Weapons Merged mods that adds an additional modification to the M1911 handgun; an engraving.
All other modifications are left in-tact and still work fine.
Currently the following options are available (that are added by this mod):
Engraving Pattern #01 On Chrome
Engraving Pattern #01 On Gold
Engraving Pattern #01 On Nickel
Engraving Pattern #01 On Silver
Engraving Pattern #01 On Titanium
Engraving Pattern #01 On Yellow Gold
No Engraving
Please note that I am not aiming to be overly accurate with these options, they are what they are.. In no way am I say its what it would actually look like.
To install this mod:
simply install either the M1911A1 - Standalone or DOOMBASED Weapons Merged mod
Then pick and install the appropriate plugin from the DOOMBASED 1911 Engraving Add-On mod page (you are here)
And finally Install the required files pack from the DOOMBASED 1911 Engraving Add-On mod page (once again you are here).. When asked if you want to overwrite, select YES.
Once in-game you should be able to apply the engraving modification to your m1911 (assuming you installed correctly) at the weapon mod station.
Please note that I have NOT tried this with the AE version(s) of the mods, it is something I intend to do at some point in the near future though so if you use those version(s) it MAY or MAY NOT work.
If there are any issues dont hesitate to let me know, the sooner you tell me about a problem the sooner it'll get fixed.
Also feel free to send in your screen shots of your characters using the engraved weapon, Ill be happy to add them to the page.

All credit for the original Models and Textures go to the following authors at GameBanana; Steel - 1911 Frame/Slide/Magazine/Silencer, General Tso - Sights, the_tub - Sights, SureShot - Hammer and Grip Cut Edits/Grips/DuoTone, Style slide/Hammer and Magazine (and normal/spec maps), Stoke - 1911 Frame/Slide/Bullet/Silencer, and SureShot. Laser and Mount by Krycek. Reflex by Odec3D. Sounds by Magmacow. Laser Beam by Trophi Hunter. DOOM for messing everything up.
