Although I try to keep as many original structures as possible, I completely scrapped the original Abernathy farmhouse because it is hideous. I rebuilt the structure entirely, basing if off of a Tudor era country manor house. I also built a medieval-style village to go with it. As with the Abernathy farmhouse, most of the buildings follow the same basic style of English Tudor buildings: tall gables, chimneys facing forward, etc. The way I envisioned the settlement operating is very much like an old medieval village as well, with the Abernathys as the settlers' landlords. As for Abernathy's Farm export, I, of course, went with produce. There is a blacksmith (with an armor and weapons shop) complete with an attached, medieval-style outside forge, a clothing shop, a church, a general store, a hospital, a produce exchange (that doubles as a bank), a salon, a school, a tavern, and a "windmill" (a building that I created using cheats to look like a windmill, but it actually houses a fusion generator).
