The latest version of this mod overhauls the quest completion trigger so that it be so hard to hit when retrieving the weapon. In order to achieve this i had to rebuild the entire quest. You will most likely need to do a clean install of the mod if you experience any problems after the update as redoing the quest has changed the IDs of all entries in the .esp
Introduction
Welcome to the Fourth Weapon of my New Vegas Uniques Recreated series. In this series i will recreate some of my favorite unique New vegas weapons. As basis for the weapons i will use Fallout 4 weapons as i do not have very good modelling skills. As a result of using Fallout 4 weapons as a base some of these will look different from their original counterparts but i will aim to keep them as close as possible. Each of these weapons will come with a Creation Club like mini quest to pinpoint you to the location so you do not need to search aimlessly. If the weapon is in the hands of a enemy, it will be an enemy that is easy to distinquish from the rest. Unlike in New Vegas, each weapon is also moddable. Lastly, i have tried to keep the weapon stats as correct as possible. Hope you enjoy these recreations and don't be afraid to comment if you find something off in them or would like to suggest updates.
Description
This time im bringing back Esther from New Vegas. For those who do not know and those who don't remember, Esther is a Highly Customized Fat Man from the New Vegas Gun Runners DLC that has very high attack power but in exchange is 10 pounds heavier and slower. Esther also features a Blast Shield to protect you from both physical harm and radiation exposure.
The Weapon
I have tried to keep this Esther as close to the original from New Vegas as possible. As such, it has a new 3D model and texture wich give it the appearance it should have, including the blast shield and glass/plastic rails. It also has a new Legendary Effect that gives you +10 Damage Resistance and +25 Radiation Resistance and the Stats of the weapon are adjusted to try have them as close as possible to New Vegas. Esther also counts as a regular Fat Man and therefore is fully compatible with the Bowling Ball Launcher, the Nuka-Nuke Launcher and the Experimental MIRV, tough i have to note that the Experimental MIRV clips trough the model a bit, so if you are like me and would be bothered By this, then i do not suggest using it with Esther.
Location
The Weapon can be found hidden in the Robotics Pioneer Park. Not gonna give away where in there exactly, but it is not the trunk near the Deathclaw.
NOTE I always suggest you do a clean install when you download updates from me, clean install ensures your mod works as i always test mine from a clean install and i rarely find bugs that way. If you just install this on top of the old something could collide.
