COMPONENT OVERHAUL

This mod is an attempt at retooling the crafting components (especially adhesive) to make the system more immersive and challenging.  Some major changes have been made to some of the game's core activities, so please read this before trying out my mod.

Component Workbench

First, I added a workbench.  For the beta release, it's a (very) slightly modified Weapon Workbench A, and it's buildable in the "Special" category.  It requires no perks and will be necessary for building basically anything.

Component renaming and more components

Several of the vanilla components have had their names changed to ones I feel are more descriptive, more appropriate, or I just like better.  I've also added 25 new components.  Three of the vanilla components have been removed completely.  Complete list at the bottom of description.

Weapon and Armor Mods

I've always disliked the generic "adhesive" being used for all of your weapon and armor mods.  Now, specific types of armor and weapons will use specific types of adhesives for their mods.  These typese are: Thread, Lead Solder, Cyanoacrylic Glue, Cloth Tape, and Welding Flux.
  • Cyanoacrylic Glue - Combat and Synth armor
  • Lead Solder - Ballistic and Energy weapons, except pipe weapons
  • Cloth Tape - Pipe Weapons
  • Thread - Clothing and Leather Armor
  • Welding Flux - Heavy Weapons, Metal Armor, Power Armor

Settlement Construction

Concrete - Did you know concrete was a lost science for hundreds of years?  It's true.  The Romans developed it, then the discovery was lost to time until the industrial age.  You know why?  Because concrete is hard to make.  This mod makes that true again.

Nails and Bolts - You will need nails and bolts to build stuff.  You can find them by scrapping furniture or buildings, or you can make them on the Component Workbench.
