DESCRIPTION
Don't reload, instead respawn! Live another day by setting up personal spawn points in a portable fashion. Once you install the Anti-Death Cybernetic Implant, you will be able to respawn at a set location and build portable Respawn Relays. These relays can be placed anywhere in the world and be picked up, set as the new spawn point, or even moved or rotated to adjust for aesthetic purposes. The holotape also gives you various death penalty options ranging from no penalty at all to dropping everything on death!

HOW TO USE
Visit the Sanctuary Hills basement and locate the Anti-Death Cybernetic Implant. Begin self-surgery (injuries may vary on your INT attribute) and enjoy your newly acquired death-preventing resurrection system! The default spawn point is in the basement, however this can be changed by using the new Respawn Relays. Respawn Relays can be crafted at the Chemistry Station under Utility and will be found in your MISC inventory. Drop a Respawn Relay anywhere in to the world and it will now be treated as the new spawn point! When activated, you can decide to pick it up, set it as the new spawn (in case you have multiple relays placed), or simply move/rotate it to your liking.

Be warned, as death may come with a cost! Choose from various death penalties (or none at all) using the Anti-Death User Manual holotape to appropriately fit your playstyle. There are currently four types of death penalties you may choose from:

SOFTCORE: When you die, you will simply respawn at the set location.
LIGHT: When you die, you will respawn at the set location and be feed 10% of your bottlecaps.
HEAVY: When you die, you will respawn at the set location as well as drop everything and must return to your death location to retrieve your items.
HARDCORE: Same as HEAVY, except dying again will cause the previously dropped items to be lost for good if they were not retrieved.

* For HEAVY and HARDCORE users, the dropped container "Body Bag" will also delete itself when it becomes empty.

* When you respawn, your health will replenish but your Rads and Active Effects will not, including Survival Mode effects.

COMPATIBILITY
Incompatible with mods that modify the player's essential flag or affect the player during bleedout.

UN/INSTALLATION
To install, simply use your favorite mod manager or manually place the files into your Data folder. To safely uninstall, first use the Uninstall option in the Anti-Death User Manual holotape, then delete/disable the mod or remove the files from the Data folder.

KNOWN ISSUES
  • Picking up a Respawn Relay that is currently set as the respawn point will cause the respawn point to default back to the basement until another Respawn Relay is set as the new respawn point or a new Respawn Relay is placed.
  • If you died while Sneaking, you will respawn in a "stuck" Sneak mode in first person. To fix this, simply go into third person and Sneak/Unsneak.

FUTURE PLANS
  • Possibly add additional options upon request.

PERMISSIONS
You may do what you wish with the file as long as you credit me and don't distribute it on a separate mod hosting platform.
