Dam Fine Housing
_______________________________________________

Dam Fine Housing is a new playerhome/settlement mod (anybody seeing a pattern here?) that exists in the form of an old maintenance room at the foot of the hydro-electric dam, just a few steps north of Walden's Pond. Pretty much everything inside you'd need to scrap is scrappable, and it comes with functional, linked workbenches for your convenience. There's also some notes lying around, some are mild suggestions for room usage, others are possible leads to later stories. If you are updating to V2.0 (the settlement version) from the original, please refer to the Installation and Updating section for further instruction.

The dam already has some items I've pre-placed for scrapping that can give you a little head start on building things, you're still going to need cloth for anything useful indoors but pre-war money is everywhere so I don't see that being a problem. In regards to the outside area, I left the mirelurks in Walden Pond but I removed some of the other spawn points so you wouldn't immediately get attacked every time you went to your new base.

If you're having trouble finding the door, it's a trapdoor located on the base of one of the column like pieces that run down the side of the damn, shouldn't be too hard to miss but I figured I'd let you all know.

Installation and Updating
_______________________________________

If this is your first time installing the mod, you're good to simply download the newest version. If you're updating from the first version, before you can just drag and drop the .esp into your data folder, you need to make sure you take the proper steps. Because the functionality of the cell has been edited, it is important to do these things as it could break the mod otherwise. If you do not follow the steps, it is at your own risk (Don't say I didn't warn you)

1. I recommend you scrap everything you've built for parts, unless you don't mind losing them.
2. empty all safes and personal containers to ensure you do not lose any belongings.
3. Completely leave the area, I always recommend going to DC to be safe but as long as you're in an interior or very far away from the location, you should be 100% okay.
4. Make a "clean save". This means you must save, uninstall the mod, save again, and then you're ready to reinstall.
5. drag and drop the contents of the mod folder into your data folder, let the files overwrite, and you're good to go. You can also use NMM, but I never do so if you want to know how I'm sure youtube has your back.
