I use mods that allow me to build and scrap outside the game-defined workshop area.  Some of those have this feature, but I wanted a standalone to work with my favorite, as it did not.  This mod ONLY REMOVES THE VISIBLE RED/GREEN BORDER EFFECT.  It does not allow you to build/scrap outside the border, it is purely for visual purposes. I recommend Build and Scrap Beyond Boundaries by Kuroitsune. But this mod will work with whatever one you choose.

Compatibility

Included in this mod is support for all Official DLCs with new settlements, but the DLC is not required to use this mod.
