A simple boost in damage to be on par with a .45 caliber combat rifle.
From the brief testing I've done, it doesn't obliterate enemies but makes far better use of it's ammo.
.45 Combat Rifle = 21 DMG

Why not check out ajhakra's Sub-Machine Gun's Stick magazine while you're out mod shopping?
Also be sure to also get Grab the Damn Mag by MonkSS along with it, so there's no clipping animation issue.
