OK my military freaks ...here is a little present...
You know that worthless thing they call a Federal cache thats more trouble than its worth at the a$ end of hell ??
Well NO MORE!!
It now has a purpose !!
Here my dear friends is my version of what a "cache" should be especially when we are talking a military cache.
The beauty of this location is that its UNDERGROUND.
Yes under ground and that is where all the goodies are.
Enough room for A LOT of settlers and vendors with all the comforts of any surface dwelling .
This mod has more "toys" than you can imagine...from several elevators, lifts, freight elevators to a big a$ "sunroof" that opens to reveal the "starry sky" or sunshine (hopefully you dont open it during a rad storm..:P).
The only down side of this location is the location itself that makes settlers show up VERY late...or never... (probably the rads..P ) .
Ive added a trigger that forces the weather to change so if you see a prolonged rad storm..go downstairs a walk towards the freight elevator and it should start to change .
Or outside you can leave the area and come back (not too far away ).
So i suggest moving as many as you want from somewhere else or spawn them (npc spawner doesnt work for the same reason as above).
You can use various mods that spawn settlers or simply type this in the console: player.placeatme 00020593 3 ( last digit is how many you want).
Once youve spawned them enter workshop mode and move them to where you are so they become legit for the location.
The map marker is enabled for fast travel so you dont take forever to go there.
WARNING !!!! save away from the location and THEN install this mod or stuff like automations wont work. ( and by "AWAY " i mean FAR away like another settlement .)
Requirements are The Far Harbor DLC and nothing else.
For lore's sake...
"General Patric Johnson was in charge of this facility .
One day as they were sitting around doing every day maintenance they heard the communications about a war...
After inquiring about this "war" he was told to "STAY PUT " and take no action no matter what he hears or sees....
Then as the days went by he saw the flashes ...
He knew that this was a nuclear strike but he couldnt just stand by doing nothing...
As they scanned the radio waves looking for any information all they got was static.
Until they started to hear muddled sounds and voices screaming for help ....
Now this man was a general and a patriot .
"That was the last straw!!!" he screamed ...He was going to disobey his orders and go help those in need...
He assembled a unit and sent them out and then it happened... A blinding light and thats all that he remembers.
Well it seems that the nukes werent done falling..and one landed in his "front yard"....
A few of his men had grabbed him and dragged him inside just in time to be able to lock down the facility and avoid the fallout...
The General was brought to the verge of insanity from regret and guilt for he had sent his men to die "without honor" ...
You will find the Poor general "hanging around" waiting for your arrival... be kind and lay him to rest ."
Thats it for the story telling..:P
Now go and explore your new "toy"...
If you find any issues that havent been mentioned ...please post them.
