About this mod

I missed this water from the older RPGs that I used to play, so I decided to make it for Fallout 4. Comes complete with unique poison effect, and 4 different variations depending on how much purple water you want in the Commonwealth.

Eerily beautiful is a perfect way to describe this water.

Anyone who has ever played those older RPG Games knows that purple water very well.

Some games implement it differently than others, but two things are very universally known about it 1) it is always purple 2) it poisons your character when you touch it.

This mod brings that water to Fallout 4 in all of it's nostalgic glory!

Mod Information:
There will be four different versions of this mod, they are as follows:
1) Full - All of the water will be replaced with this glorious poisoned purple water.
2) Mostly Full - A few select water places will have normal water, most will still be purple. About 85% purple water.*
3) Medium - About 50-60% of the water will be purple.*
4) Small - About 20% of the water will be purple.*

* - I removed the Ocean from being purple in these mods, so the percentage is not really an accurate mass of water overall in the game.  As the ocean is massive.

This mod should be compatible with any water mods that alter the textures of the water, but only as a replacer.

Each body of purple water is different from another.  The ocean water has a light color while the Institute Tunnel water has a very dark color, for example.

Standing in this water only does poison damage, none of the damage should be considered extremely "lethal" for a decently leveled up player even in the most extreme deep purple poisoned water.

****Each body of purple water has a different amount of poison that will effect you when you touch it.  Generally the rule is the darker purple the water, the more it will poison you.

****The purple water also has varying levels of silt, darkness, and clearness for each body of water.

****A standalone unique purple looking poison visual effect surrounds your character while you are being poisoned by the purple water.  This visual effect itself only applies to your character, while the poison contact effect will effect anyone in the water.

****The poison effect works similarly to how effects normally worked in the vanilla waters; the longer that you are in it and move around the more damage you take, but this effect does not always persist.  So you could get away with minimal to no damage if you take fast hops or just move very quickly over small amounts of water.

****Swimming in the purple poisoned water will still do poison damage to you, and each water body has a different amount of underwater clarity.

****The poison effect from this water does effect enemies, companions, and of course the player.  I also removed the Immune to Poison Perk condition, so enemies that had that will be effected by this water also.

The Actor Value for Resistance to Poison will still count though, so if you or any enemies have high resistance to poison this water either will not effect you/them or will do very little damage.

Drinking any of the water that is purple does a lot of damage regardless of how purple the water is, because your character just drank poison.

How it Works:
Step 1: Install the ESP through NMM or your own method.
Step 2: Enjoy your Poisoned Purple Water of Nostalgic Doom.

Installation:
I recommend using Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) to install, then just activate the ESP (Plugin).

If you do not use NMM, then copy the stuff in the Data folder of the Mod tot he Data folder of your game and activate the ESP file.

The makers of FO4Edit
All of those older RPG games that did poisoned water this way, the proper way.

This mod was made by myself using FO4Edit.

Please Enjoy as Always.

I just couldn't help myself... I missed this water!
