About this mod

Made with vanilla and DLC settlement objects only! Requires Transfer Settlements by CDante.

Permissions and credits
Big thanks to CDante for the incredible Transfer Settlements mod!

DESCRIPTION:

I'm glad to finally share my favorite settlement with the Nexus community.  It's an imitation of the real San Francisco Armory and it's still an ongoing project.  The first major update includes a new roof, a rebuilt right wall, unique exterior lighting, and many quality improvements.  Check it out!  I'd love to hear suggestions for interior rooms and other ideas.

FEATURES:

  • Made with vanilla and DLC game structures only!  No settlement object mods necessary!
  • Over 1,300 individual settlement objects!
  • One-of-a-kind use of concrete walls and windows!
  • Unique exterior lighting!
  • 4 individual Floors!  1st and 4th floors are extra tall!
  • See screenshots!

REQUIREMENTS:

NEEDED:
  • Wasteland Workshop DLC
  • Far Harbor DLC
  • Contraptions Workshop DLC
  • Transfer Settlements by CDante
  • You must be allowed to build at the County Crossing Settlement!  Allied or conquered!

SUGGESTED:

INSTALLATION:

  • Install Transfer Settlements and fulfill its requirements
  • Download the mainfile with NMM and enable it (drop directly into your Fallout 4 folder for manual install)
  • Launch F4SE and travel to the County Crossing Settlement
  • Make preparations for import (see "IMPORTING TIPS" below)
  • Open the Miscellaneous tab on your Pip-Boy and scroll to the bottom to "[Settings] Transfer Settlements"
  • Run it, select "[Import a settlement from a blueprint]," then select "[Blueprint #4]"
  • Confirm that the Player name reads "Madeleine" and click "OK"
  • Confirm that you have the required Add-ons and Plugins, click "OK"
  • Select "[Start Import]"
  • After the loading screen, move to stand clear of the import

TIPS & TRICKS:

IMPORTING:
  • Save your game before importing.
  • Before importing, remove unwanted trees and scrap (especially the deadly physics enabled cars).
  • Some trees and effects aren't removable with Spring Cleaning.  However, I still recommend at least removing the large tree and the smoke effect from campfires.  To remove these, target them in the console and use the command "markfordelete" and then subsequently "disable".
  • It's a good idea to move the settlement workbench before the import so that it is easier to find later.  This can be done after pressing the "INS" key while using thPlace Everywhere mod.
  • You might find that not all settlement pieces import properly.  I advise that you reload and try importing again.  A few missing floor pieces are easily fixed, but missing concrete windows will be near impossible to replace.

LIGHTING:
  • The wires connecting the construction lights outside of the building zone will not be imported.  With Place Everywhere installed, the "F5" key will allow you to travel outside of the settlement build-able area.  There you can connect the construction lights to the generator with wires and pylons.  If it's too much trouble you may also remove the lights with console commands.
  • Vanilla construction lights are not powerful enough to light the outside of the building and do not create shadows.  You must download the Brighter Construction Light mod for the Armory to be illuminated properly.
  • The floating picket fence posts are apart of the lighting aesthetic, not a glitch.

FUTURE PLANS:

  • Create a variety of themed interior rooms, something different on each floor
  • Beautify the lighting system
